Friendly, warm and interesting people. A very nice room and very nice breakfast. A beautiful setting.

A little hard to find.

Hospitality , Breakfast , made very welcome by owner in a working environment in an ideal location for our planned visit to the area further North.

Would be great if there was another chair in the bedroom as you cannot use the other family rest areas.

this was a wonderful bed and breakfast the bed was comfortable the room had a lovely bathroom with underfloor heating it was most relaxing the breakfasts were superb and as we were there for a special occasion Joan even gave me a card and present and decorated the breakfast room for me. the house is in a wonderful setting with superb views book this b&b you will not regret it i cannot recommend it highly enough book this b&b you will not regret it

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Clenliness of the rooms Personalised breakfast at request Spacious and very well designed rooms It is very near to important national parks and the Newtonmore Riding Center and also to several distileries. Overall is the probably the best value for money B&B I have ever stayed in.

The rooms were not very well soundproofed and you could wake up almost by anything in the morning.

The owners of the house were amazing people and very friendly. We were welcomed in like it was our home away from home. We stayed here for four nights. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and so was the en suite bathroom. The breakfast was incredible and always had a selection of fresh fruit as well as the option of a cooked breakfast. The Highlands is a beautiful area an this is a great base to explore from. If we are ever in the Highlands again we will definitely stay here. We recommend it highly.

The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer as we needed to get to Edinburgh.

Very nice home and lovely people. Quiet rural location with superb views. If you like horses you will love staying here.

This is not a hotel nor is it in Newtonmore. It is a Bed & Breakfast situated about 10-15 mins drive from Newtonmore at Balgowan. There is no taxi or bus service ( the nearest taxi comes from Kingussie 20 mins away). Apart from the misleading info on the website it is a beautiful place & lovely people.

We had a very warm and friendly welcoming and put us at ease. We had a gorgeous room and private bathroom. We had lots of space and it was a great place to take our dogs to. It was wonderful to see the horses and staff going about their business. The breakfast was lovely, we were well cared for and all in all it was a fabulous start to the holiday.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Een ruime en comfortabele kamer (bed was wel aan de kleine kant) en badkamer, beide met afzonderlijk regelbare vloerverwarming. Ook een zeer goed ontbijt.

Zoals reeds vermeld nogal moeilijk te vinden, maar gewoon de A86 vanuit Newtonmore richting zuiden volgen tot in Balgowan (10 à 15 min), dan rechts inslaan (er staat ook een bordje langs de weg).

Lindo lugar, donos muito simpáticos e prestativos, carinho na arrumação, café da manhã e todo o resto. óTimo ponto fora das cidades grandes para dormir e retornar ao passeio revigorado. Chão aquecido que foi muito útil para o período que ficamos. Recomendo muito este local e parabéns aos donos pela beleza da casa e simpatia com seus hóspedes.

La habitación es amplia, muy limpia y cómoda. Tiene todo lo necesario. El B&B está situado en una tranquila y hermosa zona de campo. La hija de los dueños entrena equitación y allí mismo tienen los caballos en los establos. Era una maravilla desayunar en el salón acristalado viendo los caballos. El matrimonio que lo regenta es encantador, te ayudan en todo lo necesario.

Nos ha gustado absolutamente todo.

La hospitalidad de la propietaria, los desayunos y el confort de la habitación (el baño esta muy muy bien)

No está en Newtonmore, está un poco más alejado, a unos 8 km (imprescinsible esta info para quien no vaya con coche).

El trato del personal ha sido excelente. Desayuno muy bueno.

Lovely spacious room and bathroom, views to surrounding countryside. Warm welcome (and underfloor heating!) and great cooked breakfasts. And if you are interested in horses, pure heaven, as it is also a small working stables and training centre - you can even arrange B&B for your horse!

It's not really a dislike, because I was prepared for it, but Tigh an Each is a few miles outside Newtonmore village (not walking distance), with only one small hotel nearby doing evening meals and not open every night, so plan accordingly - eat en route or be prepared to drive out in the evening.

The room was very well appointed and the breakfast was well prepared and bountiful.
