The management and staff were exceptional. They were always helpful (going the extra mile), and greeted every day with a smile. The breakfast room and dining room were really nice, and the food in the dining room was very good. Service was excellent, quick, polite and entered into light banter very well. The outlook over the loch from both rooms was fantastic. Car parking was easy and the overall location was perfect for exploring Glencoe and the Western Highlands

This was the perfect stay!! I absolutely loved my time! Mairi and Gary are amazing hosts and I loved talking to and getting to know them!! They also had lots of great recommendations, from music to places to go, things to see, and shops! Breakfast was a huge spread! And my cozy room was such a peaceful haven! Loved the decor so much I actually ordered a plaid throw like the one on my bed that now looks lovely on my couch at home! The clawfoot tub was wonderful too! And the location is beautiful, overlooking the water and mountains and close to so many places I wanted to see! Couldn't recommend Highland Croft B & B enough!! Thanks so much!!
A warm, family welcome awaits at this traditional West Highland inn/small hotel. Beautifully situated beside Loch Linnhe, Inn at Ardgour is reached via a very short car-ferry trip across the water.

Dinner at the restaurant at the hotel was delicious. Nice variety on menu
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places.
Onich is really well positioned to visit some great places. Ben Nevis is
at Fort William, with the delicious whiskey distillery at its foot. Definitely visit Loch Shiel (famous filming location) and the viaduct at Glenfinnan (as seen in Harry Potter). You'll be totally spoilt with the stunning scenery on the way to and from Eilean Donan castle on Loch Duich - it's a bit of a drive but so, so worth it.

The view of the loch was good.
The view of the loch was good. It was a stormy day and night, but that was an interesting view too.
It was a small simple room, which is all we need. I could do without the TV. The picture on the website made it super easy to spot as we approached. This was a great location for a stopover between things we did.

The Onich hotel is in a spectacular setting. We have stayed here before, we loved our stay then and we loved it this time too. The room and facilities were all one might expect and the food was top rate. We'll definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Loved the location.
Loved the location. Our room had a balcony and a fantastic view over Loch Linnhe. They have an excellent chef and evening meals were delicious & reasonably priced. They also had a well stocked bar. The owner, manager and staff were all very polite and helpful and it was so good we opted to stay another night.
Not everyone enjoys a buffet breakfast but it was good quality and suited us except for the food not being hot enough. However this was quickly rectified & hopefully won’t be a problem in the future.

Excellent location and room.
Excellent location and room. The owners are evidently investing a lot to update the hotel and when complete will be very good.
The owners are very helpful and friendly but their staff let them down with their lack of professionalism.
as a landlord myself of 15 years there are 2 things that are a must for tenants. A good shower and a good bed. this place knocks that out of the park first bat. wonderful nights sleep and a great large shower. if your hiking this is perfect. everything else is equally well designed. hot water on tap and heating on tap when needed. the large windows offer stunning views when your not amongst them. additionally there is a hotel that serves wonderful food literally 200 feet down the road. what more could you want.
will defiantly return
This property is located above Loch Linnhe and the views of the Loch are incredible from the big picture windows. The hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. The cottage was spotless and incredibly cute. Our cottage was a little small for three adults (I was traveling with my 2 adult children) but it was cozy and perfect for our purposes. There is a hotel within walking distance where we got dinner and Glencoe is only a short drive for excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
The location is simply stunning but the best thing about The Lodge on the Loch was definitely the staff - three cheers for Napoleon and Luis who made my stay so memorable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food in the Sea Salt restaurant was fantastic and great value. All really fresh, beautifully cooked and served.
There was something new to see each day as the team are working hard on the property, but I saw that as a benefit giving a sense of home from home. I loved it!
The Hotel itself was a really nice and the location is second to none. The rooms were comfortable and clean and coffee etc was added during our stay ( 4 nights in all) without asking. Owner himself was very good, helping with where to go etc and friendly and cheerful. Had a lovely guests room full of books and games to help pass the time. We only had one meal there but the food was very good.
The room/bathroom had all the modern amenities. The B&B had a lovely lake view. A few miles from restaurants, they offered a full breakfast as well as a limited evening menu. Bar was open and staff was very knowledgeable about their whiskies. They got us reservations at a "hard to get into" seafood restaurant (quite a few people turned away). Overall, it was great.
Leon and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The view from our room was incredible! The bathroom was spacious and had a lovely, big stand alone bath. The location was perfect - we drove to Fort William, Ben Nevis and Glenfinnan while staying here. The owner is clearly investing in refurbishments and the hotel has the potential to be fantastic!
this was a quintessentially Scottish b&b experience. The owner Clair was accommodating and friendly, she helped us get a reservation at an outstanding local seafood restaurant and Angela educated us at the extensive whiskey bar. The view alone is worth a stay, the hospitality made it the most memorable stop on our Scotland tour.
Fantastic hosts, who provided us with a comfortable home setting away from home. Comfortable bed, shower great and good breakfast to start the day. Mairi also guided us to get medical care after I got knee injury and to amazing local cafes, restaurants and sites. Our preferred one was Lochleven Seafood Cafe! Superb!
Gary served one of the best breakfasts we had the entire trip. The surrounding scenery is gorgeous. I forget the name of the place but he steered us to a restaurant on the other side of the lake where we had an incredible seafood meal.
Good dinner menu. But old building some grime in bathroom. Windows in rooms in front don’t close properly so the front rooms near the street are noisy. I paid more and moved to a room in back, where windows close and nice view of loch
Beautiful view from the lake pods. Staff was able to accommodate us since we initially booked a room in the hotel and not a pod. Thank goodness we were able to switch because the regular rooms are dated and pretty worn down.
The location is great, it was a stopover for one night on the way to Skye. It appeared to be good value for money. Very comfy bed and hot shower. Went to Kinlochleven for dinner in the seafood restaurant which was excellent
Room was lovely. Fantastic size and facilities. Breakfast provided in the fridge (milk, muffin and orange juice). The restaurant is closed however there is a brilliant pub (Roam West) which does amazing food and drinks.
Check in detailed personal information, lovely views, clean, nice lounge with extra touches such as coffee, kitchen with lots of extras, seating and organized food storage. Helpful, friendly staff. Enjoyed our 3 days.
Very spacious and clean. Our room had a view of the loch. We walked onto the ferry (free) and had a drink and dinner at the hotel restaurant on the other side. Nice experience.
