Quiet comfortable room, attentive staff, value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful particularly Isobel who is a lovely person.

Inexpensive, well-equipped inc free wi-fi that works!, pleasant staff, decent restaurant, pleanty of parking and a clean bathroom.

the staff were welcoming , helpful and friendly it was clean and convenient for my use. bar had nice atmosphere and breakfast informal and had nice choice .

room was tired with ripped wall paper , many stains on the furniture and very basic. the whole place looks like it needs redecoration. bed not the most comfortable , a basic mattress.

Single room adequate for one night stay. clean and tidy.tea coffee and biscuits were good, tv fine.

Appearance of room a bit old fashion and wall paper torn. otherwise you get what you pay for.

the hotel is well situated for exploing the stafford area. we had a lovely clean comforable room,thestaff were freindly and helpful,we had our meal in the restrauntand it was deicious! breakfast was good,lots ofchoice and plentiful. we will stay again.

the heating was rather hot in the bedroom and no way of turning it down.

Bar staff were very un helpful. No electrics in the bar. Booked a double room and got 2 singles pushed together. Bedding was clean but shabby, didn't fit the duvets, was not fastened or tucked in at bottom, looked very un professional. Room and corridors are shabby and in need of up dating.

The majority of my stay was perfect.

The restuarant menus were a disgrace. They were very poor photo copies stapled together and very poor copies at that..........a disgrace... and then you charge top prices for that food. the soup was bought in mush and the fruit in the crumble was the same bought in mush as the soup. I ate out on the other nights.

Hotel aloud people to smoke right outside the main reception so every time you went in or out of the hotel it was either, hold your breath or a lung full of massive smoke. NOT GOOD

All good quiet a little dated but gives it it's charm,

We asked for a Double bed as a married couple and got two singles pushed together which made us feel as though we were friends and needed space in bed. We asked at reception and they said there was no gaurentee of a double bed although website said double .
