The hotel building and grounds are stunning in a very tranquil and relaxing setting. Well appointed, spacious room. The staff are very friendly, the ambience is very relaxing. Terrific food and dog friendly. Highly recommend this hotel - wished I had more than one night to enjoy the facilities! |

We liked the relaxed atmosphere and the grandeur of the hotel and its grounds. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. If we have to point something out, it would be that there is no lift in the hotel. This did not bother us and we liked it that way as it added to the country house experience. If stairs are a problem for you then you may not be able to enjoy the hotel to the full. There are ground floor rooms available, though. |

All round excellence from the Hotel itself through to the staff, who were very friendly, polite and so helpful it was beyond belief. My congratulations to the management and staff of this Hotel, they should be really proud of what they have achieved. One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed at ( and the list is endless ). |

The setting, the decor, the comfort of the rooms, the service and the food Would have been very helpful to know that there is no lift and that there are so many stairs in advance is one of the guests is of mature years, uses a stick and had some difficulty with so many stairs |

This charming, traditional family-run hotel is situated in one of the most picturesque parts of Northumberland, in the small town of Wooler, known as the Gateway to the Cheviot Hills. |
Over 200 years old and Grade II listed for its historical architecture, this luxury Georgian hotel is in glorious surroundings with views over the River Tweed. |
The Estate House is an elegant Victorian home in a quiet setting at the centre of Ford Village. There is a garden surrounded by mature trees and views towards the Cheviots. |
