All round excellence from the Hotel itself through to the staff, who were very friendly, polite and so helpful it was beyond belief. My congratulations to the management and staff of this Hotel, they should be really proud of what they have achieved. One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed at ( and the list is endless ). |

wow!!!!!!! this has got to be the best kept secret in the north east of england....we cant wait to go back, the rooms are fabulous, the staff are great and the setting is perfect; if you go to the area this hotel must be first on the list!!!!!! |

The setting, the decor, the comfort of the rooms, the service and the food Would have been very helpful to know that there is no lift and that there are so many stairs in advance is one of the guests is of mature years, uses a stick and had some difficulty with so many stairs |

I liked that the hotel had the feel of a much larger hotel ie you didn't feel that you were living in someone else's house which you can do in hotels with so few bedrooms The locations of the walks on the estate were not obvious |

The Hotel was simply fantastic. The whole experience was a joy. The wi-fi network was not available...but this was not enough to drop the score from 'excellent'. |
