Breakfast was excellent. Decor is very nice and atmosphere is great for eating and drinking. Location is really good, being in the centre of town.
We asked for a quiet room. We were above the bar and overlooking the square so we heard every conversation, every footstep on the stairs, the man snoring next door, the rubbish truck and anything else that moved.
Lovely location in Warwick. Very central to Warwick Castle. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. The room is above a pub so there was a bit of noise at night but not enough to keep a jet lagged traveller awake.
The staff were really friendly though quite rushed and busy. Roast dinner on Sunday night was great. The atmosphere was nice and the room clean and comfy. Good shower in the ensuite.
Rooms were a good size and very clean, food was good, staff were friendly and efficient, great location, loved the overall design of the Tilted Wig - would visit again
The Tilted Wig is very close to all of the tourist attractions with comfortable rooms and adequate, hearty evening meals in 'pub grub' mode. Breakfast was tasty and filling enough to not need a proper lunch.
Location was very good. Very nice restaurant opposite called Tailors.
The car park can only fit three cars nax. Late at night it can be very noisy with people drinking and talking out in the square. We went to Warwick to celebrate my wife's birthday but after being kept awake until 2am on the first night, we didn't bother staying for the second night that we booked and payed for.
In the centre of Warwick overlooking the square. Excellent Breakfast
The stairs up to the rooms there was no hand rail. In our room there were 2 steps down from the shower room to the bedroom which you had to be aware of could have fallen
very good staff everyone very friendly I particularly like it because it is smaller it has a moor intimit and cosythe breakfast is very good thie is the third time I have stayed thereeach time it has been good but this tome I had the eggs royale and they were greati
I think it would be nice to have haridryers in the room
Staff - facilities - food - room - parking- wi-fi - service.
Creaking floor boards that should have been attended to in the recent refurbishment. noise from a joining rooms. Noise from people and deliveries in the early hours (unavoidable though, given its location)
The location in Warwick. The drinks and food.
Could hear EVERYTHING the couple in the next room were doing and saying!!! Room cold. Radiators didn't work. No additional blankets provided.
The hotel is very nice and confortable, located in the center of Warwick town, the staff is very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and confortable, very well equipped, with views to the market square. The hotel has free car parking. The breakfast is very good, be sure to eat at the restaurant in the hotel, the food and desserts are amazing.
Perhaps it might be a little tricky to get to by car since you get to the parking through another street and parking in the front might be difficult
The whole package was excellent. Very friendly staff and so clean.
Not disliked, but would have liked a bath. Didn't request one when I booked so my fault.
Staff were very welcoming, food was good, rooms were comfortable.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room excellent quality. Basic but looks good and very clean. Meal tasty and fresh. Breakfast good quality. I would recommend it.
Staff very friendly and helpful except for evening meal. All the other tables were being served at the table but we had to go to the bar to order food and drinks. I did ask for drinks at the table but they never came. I asked at the bar and the waitress never gave in our order.
Fresh appearance to rooms
Ran out of menu choice
The location is perfect for shopping and sight seeing, everything within walking distance. The staff are super friendly and very helpful, free on-site parking and Wi-Fi, very clean, nicely decorated rooms, breakfast and evening meals were delicious.
Walls are very thin, you can hear a lot of noise. A lot of noise from the square. I booked a double, but it was two single beds pushed together, so a little bit uncomfortable
Great location on the market square. with an nice outside eating and drinking area. Our room looked out over the square which is very well kept with flower tubs etc and so quite an attractive outlook. There was some noise from the square until around 11:00 PM and from around 8:00 AM but then that is to be expected in a town centre location. Nothing excessive though. The food was good with a good selection of beers and wines and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the room was small it was very well decorated with everything you need. It has a car park which is a bonus in a historic town centre location, although it is very small (4 spaces) but if like us you just want to look round historic Warwick and the castle then, once parked, you don't need to move the car again. If we went back to Warwick we would definitely go back to the Tilted Wig.
It was in a convenient location and it was very clean. Food was "ok" but pricey.
The staff "appeared" to want to assist you but truly did not. The restaurant staff were young and inexperienced. They took for ever to wait on us, the food took a long time to arrive and then another very long wait for the check. Our room was uncomfortably cold and when we requested heat, we were ignored. Wi-fi was so slow that it was unusable.
Friendly, helpful staff, very clean. Excellent food. We'll be back!
Parking limited and tight if you have a big car
Location, Food and Pub atmosphere. Staff excellent
Staff were very friendly, food was tasty - breakfast was very good, the rooms were comfortable and very clean, as was the whole place.
The sound of someone in the bathroom was quite audible in the bed room, the car parking wasn't very clear either.
Arrived early and were most welcome from the outset. Very smart foodie pub on the market square. Good value, no complaints at the price.
Shortcomings of a central pub: small room (no chairs) and noise late and early. Used earplugs.
Everything was wonderful the bedroom and bathroom were spotless and really comfortable. Food excellent and staff were friendly and professional plus the whole establishment had a really good atmosphere.
Just a couple of points to bring up- Absence of a chair or stool in the bedroom , this would have been useful in the corner of the step, under the mirror, there were electric plug sockets there and this would be an ideal place to sit and dry hair etc Also some biscuits on tea tray in room would have been a nice touch.
Good room but lots of noise early morning creaky floorboards from adjoining rooms, very very clean, comfy bed, not sure I would want to stay on a Friday night as the setting up if market early would wake you. Breakfast good but my sausage was raw, just didn't eat it. Not keen on having breakfast served in a high sided plate was a bit like a bowl... But trendy i suppose! These things wouldn't put me off returning just my own lite foibles
Nothing majorly wrong!
