The owners made you feel very welcome and appreciated as a guest. Nothing was too much trouble, it really felt like a home from home and in beautiful surroundings.
friendly welcoming and helpful hosts and very comfortable and relaxing place to stay.
Tracey and Alex were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had dinner on our first night and it was extremely well cooked and very tasty with a good choice of about 6 mains on the menu. Breakfast choices were excellent with fresh berries provided daily. It was very relaxing and we will be sure to use it again.
Country setting which was quiet. Big comfy lounge to relax in and the warm welcome from the owners.
Warmest of welcomes, excellently furnished, peaceful location no road noise, warm and comfortable bed and a great breakfast (off a full and varied menu). You won't be disappointed if you stay here.
Tracy and Alex were fantastic. Very flexible and very attentive. Breakfast was outstanding. They can provide dinner, wish we had left time for that! They are great hosts.
A bit hard to find. On our GPS putting in the Lackstone Street would have worked better.
the owners who were very attentive to your needs and always there to speak to We were asked to choose the time we wanted breakfast and dinner.. The menu was excellent to choose from and prepared beautifully.
Unfortunately our bed sloped a little which meant we didn't sleep well. Although we had a separate bathroom, for us, it meant leaving the bedroom and crossing the landing ( which was private ) during the night and the door was creaking.
The outstanding care and friendliness in a very beautiful area. A wonderful place to relax and be happy.
Alex and Tracey were very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable accommodation and peaceful location. Excellent menu choice for both dinner and breakfast. Look forward to staying at Timberstone in the future.
A wonderful house and gardens in an idyllic tranquil spot. If you are looking for night life then this is not for you but this is what really made our stay perfect. The room was delightful, clean and comfortable and the guest lounge was equally as pleasant. We were made to feel very welcome but without being imposed upon. Breakfast was at a time to suit us with extensive choice and cooked to perfection. We will be back!!
We Loved the location, the open views, the Décor with Oak timber throughout, the breakfast was worth the visit alone, and Alex & Tracy where most welcoming. We will definitely visit again, but longer next time.
We didn't like going home :-(
The host and hostess, Alex and Tracy were brilliant, and made us extremely welcome from the very first moment we arrived. They have created a very nice ambience for a B&B, which is often missing from many of the others we have stayed at previously. Great food for both the breakfast and the evening dinner, and we are really looking forward to staying with them again.
upon arrival,we was made to feel welcome and at home from home. Tracey and Alex were the perfect hosts attentive in every best possible way, anyone who will stay here will enjoy all that is too offer from Tracey&Alex and the region.
We loved the location and the feel of the place. We arrived having eaten a pretty big lunch, therefore just wanted a light snack, which was delicious and supplied by Tracey. Liked the fact it was licensed, so our food was washed down with a rather splendid bottle of red! We liked that nothing seemed too much trouble. We really liked the choice of books and Cd's on offer to browse. And we really liked the proprietors- who deserve all of their obvious success.
All those added, thoughtful extras which you don't have boxes for, but which make all the difference ! The meals where superb too !
Absolutely nothing !
As soon as we placed our booking (circa 6pm on the day of booking) we received a lovely welcome text from owners Tracey and Alex. They gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant which was fabulous (Charlton Arms, Ludlow) and were absolutely fine with a late check in (10:30pm). The bedroom we stayed in was perfect, bed was very comfy and the bathroom was amazing! Breakfast in the morning was from an extensive list of choices all lovingly cooked by Tracey. I would definitely recommend this B&B, and hopefully we can come and stay here again soon!
The breakfast, the books and the bed. The room was attractive as was the lounge, and we hope to go back at some time.
Could have been made easier to find with an appropriate sign in Bitterly, but we found it in the end.
From booking this B&B we were so impressed with Tracy and Alex's friendly and informative communication . Nothing was too much trouble . The rooms were exceptional as was the standard of cleanliness and hospitality. We had dinner one night which was delicious and second only to the magnificent choice of breakfasts available . We will be returning this year and already miss the place . Fabulous .
very nice warm couple lovely room with space perfect breakfast
We loved the ambience and the setting of timberstone. The owners were lovely and friendly. We had a brilliant meal at the cottage!
We did not like sharing our table with another couple whilst eating breakfast but that is because we wanted time out!
The hosts were incredibly welcoming on arrival and very friendly. The room was just perfect really with the loveliest duvet on the bed. They gave us great advise on where to eat that evening and asked us when we would like our breakfast which was very thoughtful. It was very quiet and peaceful. I liked the bathroom with the separate shower and the bathtub was really nice and deep. It was a perfect romantic little hide away and I would happily come back for another stay.
The food was top class. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. The room was lovely nothing we would have changed. We would recommend it
Our stay here was perfect! The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday, and the food is mouth-watering. The hosts were simply amazing and made us feel like long-lost friends or family.
A bit in the country, but easy reach to nearby towns, tracey and alex were lovely, and nothing was too much trouble. Perfect hosts :-)
