Friendly staff, very good breakfast, exceptionally comfortable room and location convenient to my requirements as stop-over for End to End cycle ride. Also had somewhere under cover to keep my bicycle.

Ex breakfast and lovely staff. Very old rambling house which though ok is a little dated and could do with some modernisation eg shower. Plenty pasrking.

Breakfast finishes at 9am even on weekends.

The inn was beautiful and the hosts were gracious. We had the best meal of our entire trip thru England at the Armstead Arms restaurant in Lifton. There were many interesting things to do in the area and we wished we could have stayed longer.

We had stayed there about 8 years ago and the recent stay did not disappoint. The friendly owners set very high standards in the accommodation offered. We would willingly stay there again.
