Kind, friendly owner who could not do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. We were going to a wedding in the local area and wanted somewhere close to stay. I would recommend the guest house to anyone.
lovely old property but even at this time of year, November warm and cosy complimented buy traditional antique furnishings. all very comfortable.
no local taxis after midnight?
Excellent friendly staff. Great breakfast. Convenient location
The hosts were excellent, great breakfast, they made sure we were ok & had everything we needed.
Lovely breakfast just right to start a day on the river,
Tv in room to small unable to see when sitting in bed
Friendly Hostess and excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great setting with good pub grub nearby.
Everythig was well appointed.
The rooms were large, beds extremely comfortable & decor now not as chintzy as previous photos suggested. We were made very welcome despite a late night arrival due to unexpected heavy traffic. Breakfast was wonderful & unlike our hotel stays where we had to queue up then help ourselves to a buffet, we were served by Suzanne & personal preferences were taken into account. After each breakfast Stephen came out for a quick chat. They both perfectly judged when to leave us alone & when to engage. One problem a townie such as myself finds is the lack of wifi in the country, but not only could I get wifi in my room ...it was at no extra charge (unlike most hotels!). Other small extra touches helped – like complimentary water bottles & Kit Kats in our room each day. I did not miss the hotel expensive mini bars!
Shower was not very powerful.
Good welcome on arrival Very clean room Good breakfast
Room rather chilly on arrival (central heating not on as yet) asked for a fan heater, this was brought straight away, but unfortunately taken away whilst we were out for the evening.
No mobile reception Cold breakfast plates
The price of £90 is at least £20 too high
Friendly, very clean, excellent breakfast, relaxing location.
All of our stay.
Nice cottage, godd breakfast, tremendous staff Must try
Small village without amenities
Friendly atmosphere, spacious and quite room, good breakfast. New owners knew the art of welcoming a guest. Very good location to explore the north coast of Cornwall, after visiting Cornwall´s south and west.
With the new owners there is no restaurant offer, but you find several alternatives at about 5 minutes walking.
New owners and food
no internet but this was a temporary thing I understand.
Friendly staff, very good breakfast, exceptionally comfortable room and location convenient to my requirements as stop-over for End to End cycle ride. Also had somewhere under cover to keep my bicycle.
Everything except the price
