Staff were excellent, public room really nice and comfortable. Food was yummy.
Bed was a little hard for our liking, but we do have super soft bed at home. Bathroom (Rm 16) was a little tired in need of a refresh.
A good value break. Excellent Breakfast
The room, staff, dinner and breakfast top draw. Drove past this hotel but had no idea what I gem it was, definatly be returning..
Staff were very attentive and polite Lovely location
Room was a great disappointment Hotel very busy as it school half term Dinner menu slightly restrictive
Comfortable Room & Dining
Prices slightly too high.
Welcoming staff and cosy atmosphere Excellent breakfasts and very conveniently situated for a Titchwell RSPB visit and coastal walking Bedroom clean, warm and comfortable
Bedroom quite small for the price though bigger (and more expensive) rooms available and look good.
Spacious and well equipped rooms. Fantastic evening meal. Excellent breakfast. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Dog friendly.
GOOD HOTEL. WE STAYED THERE AS OUR FRIENDS HAVE A DOG. LIKE THE FACT YOU ALSO HAVE DOG FREE FACILITIES IF WE SHOULD VISIT AGAIN. COMFORTABLE ROOM. COURTEOUS STAFF.
EXTRACTOR FAN IN HOTEL KITCHEN VERY LOUD AND WORKS ALL THE TIME. RESULT, NOISY GUEST ROOM.
We loved the location. It was wonderfully uplifting to see the sea not too far away from us. The breakfasts were delicious. The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet. I personally liked the interior decoration. We were unable to sample the afternoon tea or evening menus due to other plans, but they looked delicious too. We would certainly recommend Titchwell Manor Hotel and have already done so.
Room, though small, had everything needed. Staff were friendly. Reception sorted out some early glitches efficiently.
Menu rather pretentious and did not live up to its pretensions.
location and breakfast
room was dark and too close to the kitchens so noisy room 11. Could be made more acceptable with a comfortable settee or armchairs .
Log fires, excellent attentive but not intrusive service.
Mattress on bed sloped into the middle of the bed.
The guests rooms were very comfortable with good facilities. The tea trolley was especially good with none of the limited supplies of milk, tea and coffee regularly found at other hotels and the biscuits were lovely! The breakfasts were of a high standard. We only had dinner once at the hotel but it was enjoyable. The staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel is in a good position for visiting RSPB Titchwell (the guided walks there are very good) and places like Burnham Market, Wells and Blakeney and walks along the North Norfolk coast path. .
We enjoyed it all!
A very warm & friendly hotel, stayed in a herb garden room with terrace, loved the huge bed and bath in particular, but standard of room in general was fantastic. Breakfast was superb with wide choice of cooked and cold options, could not fault it. Also proximity to RSPB was a real bonus.
We LOVED everything!!
I liked the
location, view, hotel, food, staff
The dinner and the bath.
Into birdwatching and good food?, this could be the place for you. Just a couple of minutes from the reserve and about 10 minutes from Hunstanton we found the Manor the ideal location for our needs. The room was comfortable, the bed even more so. Plenty of choice for breakfast and we also ate in the conservatory on two occasions in the evening, the food and service were both to an high standard.
Innovative, different food - you never quite knew what was coming on your plate - fun!!
The conversation menu was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast was good and the service on Sunday morning was good but on Monday it was very poor. The waiters on Saturday evening were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the menu.
The bathroom floor was dirty, spilt some water and wiped it up and the cloth was black also around the skirting board to floor was quite grubby. The floor boards in the room creaked badly every time you walked across the room. Overall very disappointed with the standard of accommodation for the high price of the room and you would expect there to be a bath.
A good quality weekend break, excellent location, facilities and food
Noisy plumbing and the hotel manager's reaction to a friendly warning that the pipes gave off a vibrating noise almost every time the toilet was flushed - she didn't want to accept it was anything other than the central heating!
Rooms general high standard, staff always very helpful
The welcoming staff, location and style, innovative food
Some noisy party goers next door
