Delicious duck eggs at breakfast
No guest lounge to chill out in after busy day...unless we just didn't find it! Room was cosy though...wouldn't be a reason not to book again.
Hosts looked after us , gave friendly welcome, and showed interest in our travel needs .
This is how a B & B should be.
Everything about Titherbarn. The location; the premises; the owners; the breakfast(s); 'Sadie' their dog; the hens and ducks!
There was nothing to dislike.
Facilities; Home-cooked, fresh Breakfast; hosts
Paul and his wife were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we required and even arranged an evening meal for us at the local pub. Tremendous location!
Wasn't too keen on the fact that the road was exactly outside of the bedroom window which made it a trifle noisy but it wasn't too bad
Bedroom was very close to roadside
Warm welcome ,excellent facilities stunning views and very good food .
Paul and Christine really made you feel welcome the freshly cooked breakfast was fantastic scenery from all the windows was lovely and the local pub the eagles head we had a lovely evening meal which was excellent will go back in the near future and will recommend to family and friends
Great location, fantastic breakfast and the chickens and ducks are beautiful. Really friendly and helpful hosts. Room was very clean, comfortable and had everything required for a good stay. Would definitely stay again
Excellent breakfast and good sofa bed for children who loved the pets
The shower room was advertised as having a double shower, this was just a bit larger than a standard shower and nothing special
Everything was excellent. Nothing more to say.
Excellent,b&b!!. The owners gave us a lovely warm welcome when we arrived, with safe storage for our bikes. The room was very clean with all you need for a comfortable nights sleep. Plenty of choice for breakfast, cereals, cooked breakfast (would recommend the freshly laid eggs, delicious!).What's exceptional about this b&b is great location, stunning views and fabulous hosts. Would highly recommend!.
We couldn't have asked for better hosts than Paul and Christine - nothing was too much trouble for them. Tithe Barn is in the most picturesque country setting with views of Morecambe Bay and the surrounding moors. Our room was spotless and very comfy with a lovely shower in the en-suite. Breakfast - we could choose exactly what we wanted to eat - was absolutely delicious, plentiful and cooked to perfection by Paul. The Eagles Head pub is great for your evening meal and an easy walk We loved driving up to the house and being greeted by the ducks and silkies and Sadie the 'broader' collie is so friendly. We would thoroughly recommend the Tithe Barn and hope to return soon. Thank you Paul and Christine for a lovely stay.
Having to leave!
This was a real character b and b with super hosts who cold not do enough for us, even taking the trouble to book our evening meal at the local hostelry. The garden was populated by ducks and speciality show chickens which reinforced the rural idyll. We must not forget the lovely dog to avoid offence in case she reads this review.
Quality breakfasts Friendly owners Lovely position & views generally Tremendous value pub nearby
Adjacent road noisy at times Windows for the (downstairs) room could not be left open in a secure way. Poor sitting-out areas. TV a bit small.
Location. Lovely village. Owners. Nice room. Superb property. Excellent breakfast
En suite too small for our tastes. No room to move in it at all.shower was strong though
We loved the quiet rural location, with the ducks, chickens and all the wild life. And yet only a few minutes walk to the Post Office and village pub. The room was very nice and Paul & Christne were the perfect hosts.
We only booked in for one night!
Easy to find, not far off the motorway, but far enough to be in the countryside. Very warm welcome, suggested evening meal at pub, this was very good. Room was comfortable, with a good shower. Breakfast a triumph!
The location was great for us as we were diving 2 minutes away. Christine and Paul were so welcoming. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast lovely - choice of so many eggs!
Nothing to dislike if you are OK with ducks hens and a lovely dog.
Accessible to the Yorkshire Dales Very good breakfast Good information and recommendations where to eat. Bed very comfortable
Friendly hosts Handy for M6 Lovely views Good shower
My partner prefers a bath!
We were warmly met on arrival, by Paul. The room was of good size, with a splendid bathroom. The view from the room was super, overlooking the garden, with its pet chickens and ducks. The views from the breakfast dining area are simply fantastic. Arrangements were made for us to have dinner at the local pub, which is also superb.
Absolutely nothing. It is a great place to stay!
