We were very impressed by the efficiency of the reception staff on our arrival we had not asked for a early check-in but they pulled all the stops out and were shown to our room very quickly. We were there for our friends Golden Wedding Dinner and we cannot speak highly enough of our waitress we did not have a set meal but she took our orders and all the meals arrived as ordered! The meal was very good and plenty of very nice fresh vegetables. We were very pleased with our room and all in all would thoroughly recommend The Best Western at Tiverton to our friends.

A very good hotel, my room was well furnished, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom facilities excellent. Dinner was cooked exactly as I had requested, quality was very good and the staff very courteous and efficient. A very good and restful stay. On the morning of my departure the fire alarm started at approx 06.45, probably as a result of one of the guests not following the specific instructions to keep the bathroom door close when showering as the alarm system was very sensitive. Possibly needs an engineer to sort this out!

An excellently run hotel with good size and well equipped rooms. The dining room was an unexpected treat - they seem to have an excellent chef who produces imaginative meals all at very reasonable prices. The other guests, many of whom seemed to have attended a party in the function room, could have been much quieter and more considerate of their fellow guests when going to bed late on Saturday night/early hours of the morning. Perhaps some signs in rooms and lobbies asking guests to be more considerate might help - although these days people seem to have become very selfish so this might be an intractible problem.

We were looking for a hotel close to Tiverton centre and the Best Western fit the bill. We only had one night bed and breakfast and its proximity to the centre of Tiverton, car parking facilities and accommodation were excellent. We didn't like the fact that we weren't given enough info on the breakfast arrangements and therefore missed the cold food as it was well hidden in a recess of the room.

We liked the cleanliness of the room and the facilities provided, the iron in the room came in handy for pressing my suit! The staff were friendly and efficient. Beds very comfortable. A minor gripe, there was a squeaking fire door in the corridor outside our room number 5, I did mention it and it has probably been fixed.

We were due to attend a christening nearby, and needed somewhere to sleep. This was nearby, reasonably priced, and comfortable. The beds were pretty soft, but other than that a good room. Staff very baby friendly. Dinner in the bar (rather than restaurant) was very tasty. Beds too soft.

I stayed at the hotel over a weekend when I was competing in the Ironman triathlon at Wimbleball lake. I found the staff were very friendly and accomodating seeing as I had to be up at 3:30am and the staff arranged for a continental breakfast to be served at 4! Very good of them to do that. The hotel is 30 minutes away from the lake so a bit of a drive but that's not your fault!

A large, light-filled room with a dressing-table/desk and a separate table with chairs - plenty of suitable space for writing, working etc. Excellent WiFi, tea-tray, bathroom and storage 'hall'. Breakfast was also excellent. Although I was staying just one night in order to attend a nearby event, I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel as a base for touring the area. It's on the edge of town with a large car park - easy to get onto the road network. It may not have old-fashioned character, or be in the middle of town, but it has everyone one needs for a comfortable stay.
