THE STAFF WAS GREAT, CLEAN HOTEL, GREAT FUNTION ROOM.
I DONT REAL WAS TO SAY ANYTHING BAD CAUSE STAFF WAS SO GOOD BUT THE ROOMS WAS LITTLE DATED
We stayed at the 3 rooms bungalow; highly recommended - nice and value for money if you stay in Stoke
The food was well prepared and very good value. The room was spacious, and warmed up nicely once the radiators were turned up.
It is quite obvious the hotel was built in 1993. I don't think much had changed in the room in the last 21 years, particularly the beds and bathroom. It all just needs a refresh and the even just painting the stained pine woodwork gloss white would make a massive impact.
Brilliant staff, easy to get to off the M6. Lovely food. Huge room for 5 which was a massive plus for us.
Bed was a bit too hard!
The hotel was perfect for our school trip. We were a group with 6 special needs students (one wheelchair user, four walking frame users and one other plus four staff. We were divided into a family room and the bungalow just across the road from the hotel. Upon arrival the staff were superb and couldnt help enough. The rooms were spacious with the family room perfect for our wheelchair user as there was a ramp leading in and you could fit a portable hoist under the bed. The prices for these rooms were very reasonable and reflected the quality of what you received. In the morning we stayed for breakfast which was everything you could of wanted and more. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.
Unfortunately one of our staff members was questioned about why he was on the premisis and when he explained giving his room number the lady was less than unapologetic leaving him feeling like a bit of a criminal and not very happy. This was just a very small blip on their behalf and should not reflect on what was a vey enjoyable stay. Maybe if the young blonde haired lady entertained some sort of customer service training this sort of thing might not happen in the future.
Staff attitudes Price of food Quick service - especially in the morning. Water and biscuits in room
As a female - walking in dark from accommodation block to restaurant. Also as it was more motel like than hotel, people passing bedroom windows on the access balcony. A bit unnerving at times. Probably a very personal thing I would agree.
Very nice lodge and spacious for our party of 6. Love it.
Took a while to get heating right but then on, nice and toasty.

Helpfully friendly staff. Good food and clean.
Liked being able to share the place with our friends and not have to go out to eat.
no complaints at all
The Bungalow was excellent value for money. We reported that the DVD was not functioning. Half hour later a new DVD was sourced & set up. Thumbs up for fantastic service
Kitchen was lacking a few utensils for cooking but we were able to make do with what was supplied. Oven gloves, spatulas, tongs but other than that everything you'd expect a kitchen to have.
Room was fairly modern and clean with free parking. Breakfast was good. Overall, not the best value as breakfast was extra.
Choice and quality of evening food was so-so. Bar area is a bit dark and unwelcoming, with a lot of through traffic from people using the leisure facilities. Shower was red-hot with no adjustment. Advised reception but no fixed on second night.
Very obliging and friendly staff
Great staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable, easy to find and nice to have a beer and feed at reasonable prices.
Noisy fellow guests
Everything was a pleasure :)
Nothing was too much trouble, this hotel is a hidden gem. Clean comfortable, excellent value for money and the breakfast was brill. Kept my hubby and teenagers full for most of the day.
Arrived late and although restaurant was closed, the chef made me some sandwiches which were delicious and very much needed. Delivered to my room too. Cheap and cheerful, very clean.
Nothing without nit-picking.
Breakfast was the worst
access to public areas very restricted due to hotel hosing a wedding function
A lovely bungalow which was pretty much perfect for what we wanted.
Some of the beds creaked rather a lot. The kitchen was missing some essentials like oven gloves!
Spacious rooms Good facilities Good quality food in the restaurant at a reasonable price Friendly staff
Motel type rooms
The staff were very friendly and restaurant was excellent. Would recommend a stay here and will book again.
very good restaurant. congratulations to the chef !! breakfast is generous. The waitresses are very polite and pleasant.
Room was spacious, facilities were good including a gym, snooker and squash, although I didn't actually use any of these.
The room was nice but completely let down by the shower which had poor pressure, the air vent was clogged with thick dust and there was black mould around the bath.
The room was comfortable, clean and good value for money
Inconsiderate residents marred my stay and the fact that the door to the room next to me didn't seem to have a mechanism on it to stop it slamming every time people went in and out. To be fair to the hotel I did ring reception to complain at midnight and they responded straight away.
