THIS WAS LIKE A DOSS HOUSE, STINKY, DARK, UNCLEAN, SHOWER BLOCKED, FLOODED ROOM, NOISE FROM PIPES ALL NIGHT. NIGHTMARE...STAY CLEAR
The bed gave me a back ppain..tossing and turning...the softest bed I have ever come accross. The amount of noises I could hear...like aliens landing spaceships! the freezer in the room also makes ridiculously loud noises. Was a disgrace! never again!
Good location. Few minutes walk from paddington train station.
Stay for two days with group of friends. The first day we been told that one of our room was linking so they arrange us to a family room. That was fine and we been told that they will move our luaggage to the new room but when we reached the hotel we saw our luaggage were placed in the reception and the staff told us that nobody inform that to place our luaggage at our room. And we need to carry our own belonging from the ground floor all the way up to the top floors. The worst part was our bathroom there no hot water supply. We make a complaint and the staff told us that second floor has public bathroom. And they don't even tried to fixed it. We have paid for the price with ensuite bathroom but end up we need to take bath at the public bathroom. I will never back to this hotel for my next London trip.
Size of the room
I was.. Just me, but they gave me a room for five (that was too small if there were Really 5 person) so I had lot of space. A fabolous view from window, toilet small but enought, breakfast at the room's door. Fantastic location, just one minutes walk from paddington station e few minutes by bus from hyde park.
Breakfast poor and no daily fresh bakery probably a part from bread :(
Excellent access to Paddington Station; spacious room; good storage facilities; pleasant continental breakfast with range of contents; coffee/tea facilities in room; good quality en suite facilities.
There was a well-signposted fire exit, fire doors and extinguisher equipment but a second fire exit route would increase confidence.
clean room, change of sheets and towels, friendley staff, continental breakfast served at your allocated time in your room
no lift , and took my own milk and teabags
The shower was great but that was it.
The room was just ok, not the cleanest and quite expensive for what it was.
mattress was no good, room smelly, noise,
Room for five is hard to find in London especially an affordable one. Room was small but clean and the continental breakfast was excellent ! Really only a two minute walk from Paddington main line and tube station lots of bars and coffee shops and reasturants near by and a small supermarket across the road. We would definitely stay again .
When we left
The place was Nothing like the Website photos, it was drab entrance way was cluttered and the office dingy. Stairs to the room agin cluttered, narrow and uneven so carrying suitcases and bags was a hazard. The room was not even large enough to swing a cat, floor uneven, window would not close, bed cover was stained a sheet was put directly on the mattress but being so tired we decided to stay but after 5min of lying on the bed feeling like we were being crawled on got up had a shower along with the black mold, dressed and left. Given the price and the places we have stayed in since for less cost my recommendation for those considering this place.... DON'T DO IT!!!!
Near the tube
Awful bathroom Small room No dinnig room!!!
Value for money is beyond poor. Shower did not work properly. The staff justified this as: "it is normal when a number of guests take showers at the same time, causing the water not to reach top floor" (yes, we stayed on the top floor, which also required to climb up through a labyrinth of stairs). The sink is ridiculously small, making it impossible to wash hands without spilling water on the floor. Though the room was non-smoking, it was apparent that the previous guests smoked a lot as there were almost 20 cigarette butts in front of the window and nobody cared to clean. Wi-Fi did not work properly.
Location to Paddington
Horrid small room. Breakfast of plastic wrapped processed food. Paid £85 for a double room. Wouldn't do it again. Just made you feel miserable :(
Could hear underground trains every 2 mins.
Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. They helped with all my enquiries and did not hesitate to get out their way for me.
The price is cheap, so is the Hotel. If you don't care for a little room with a tiny shower and bathroom, then there should be no problem. Good breakfast in the morning and 24h check-in, excellent location.
Tiny shower and bathroom with old furniture, but that's what you get for the price.
Very small room. Beds not in order every day. Had to ask for towels.
THE FIRST ROOM OFFERED WAS ON 4TH FLOOR AND I DID NOT LIKE IT. CHANGED TO FIRST FLOOR AND NEXT TO OFFICE AND IT WAS AN EXCELLENT ROOM---NICE, QUIET.
THE FIRST ROOM OFFRERED
Good location Clean
Size of room. Just enough room for the very small "double" bed. Bathroom about 2meters by 1meter. Breakfast (they don't serve until 8:00am, useless for business people). Tray breakfast left outside room at 9:00 each night
Excellent location. Room suitable to our needs. In London expected it to be very expensive but the hotel fitted our budget.
Toilet didn't quite function but nothing serious. Shower difficult to control for children.
Whole package was good, shower, fridge, little table and chairs, even continental breakfast was vast and very filling.
three flights of stairs, but still manageable.
It does not have a lift and inconvenient for me carrying large & heavy luggages.
I liked how very flexible they were and could take me in on a very short notice. Breakfast was big. Bed was very comfortable.
A little noisy
It was very quite hotel
