Torcroft Hotel  

Greeted on arrival with refreshments and shown to room. Neil was very helpful about the area and where to visit. Room was comfortable with tea/coffee facilities available. En-suite could do with an upgrade, shower cubicle a bit small for the larger person but was adequate.

Excellent staff - amde to feel very welcome. Great home cooked food. Room was very clean.

Room was very small and with two of us in there we could hardly move! Very small room for the price we paid. We have stayed here before and I think this time we were givent the 'box room'!

All areas clean n warm, staff and food frist class. If I return to torquay area would book there.

We enjoyed our stay, the balcony room was comfy and cosy and the family room a good size with very comfortable beds. The welcoming coffee/tea and cake was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the pillows! The staff serving breakfast were very friendly as was Neil. Hope to stay there again in the future.

everything was very good apart from the ''weather'' which the owners, Neil and Sally had no control over, they recommended a good fish restuarant within walking distance of the hotel, and there was lots of things to do, over-all a good trip.

Pleasant hotel set in quiet surroundings. Friendly welcome and well presented establishment.

Whilst the rooms were well presented they are small with limited space - suitable for overnight but would be frustrating for longer stays.

The hotel staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The wife and I booked this hotel for a few days break, as soon as we arrived we were given tea and a cake before showing us to our room which was at the front of the building with a balcony. The room was very clean/fresh and well decorated, In the morning at breakfast there was a large selection of cereals and fresh fruit and then a rearly nice full English. The hotel had a honesty bar if no one was available to serve, although we never used the bar it was a nice touch. The young staff that served at breakfast each day were very polite and cheerful.

Lovely accomodation. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with a range of choices. Good location, not too far from the main resort facilities,and just a short walk to the main beach.

Welcoming friendly modernised hotel but still retaining the charm of yesteryear. Clean and bright rooms with dining room overlooking the garden. Cooked breakfast very well done with freshly cut fruit and berries and cereal and yoghurt. Extremely well priced. The proprietors made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, suggesting restaurants to eat and places to see. Yes I would certainly return if I were to return to Torquay.

The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the water saver shower head. If I had a long stay water saver shower heads are impossible to use when you wash your hair because you have to leave them on forever to get the shampoo/conditioner rinsed from your hair.
