The weather

good size bedroom, bright, nice décor, comfortable bed, 2x flat screen TV's 1 in seating area 1 in bed area (nice to have a choice) bathroom modern, very clean with great shower. good variety at breakfast.

My wife and I are very shy, there was an incident at breakfast one morning which embarrassed us both, we did go to breakfast the following morning but felt unwelcome, so decided to skip breakfast for the rest of our stay.

Friendly atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Good food. Nothing too much trouble. Clean.

very comfortable beds, clean and tidy premises, friendly owners, lovely cats very good breakfast which was clean on the plate (fried) and very fresh tasting, plenty of fresh fruit and all other breakfast foods. Warm and cosy feel when first entering.

Very friendly,helpful Owners who made us welcome right from the moment we arrived with a nice hot cup of tea .We enjoyed each day with a lovely choice of Breakfast options.

The rooms were very tastefully decorated. Choice of breakfast.

Breakfast only served between 8.30-9.30, would have preferred up until 10am.

House and gardens are lovely

Not suiutable for disabled and it should state that I really suffered getting up stairs and even having a shower and I am only slighttly incapasitated down my left side

Friendly staff in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.Conveniently situated for walking into town.

Bedroom too small.

Nice friendly greeting by Sally, she also rang me on my journey to see if everything was ok and what time could they expect me, a nice touch. Great accommodation, comfortable with superb Breakfast and a help yourself bar if they were not about, just sign a bar tab and pay later, great. Come and go as you please, with plenty of booklets on places to go and see.

Room 5. Shower very small, it's the only shower that i have used where i have had to get in and wet myself, get out and soap myself then get back in and wash the soap off. NOT their fault, perhaps it's telling me to loose weight...lol.

A very friendly welcome, attentive and helpful staff, comfortable bed and a great breakfast.

Friendly staff, tea and cake on arrival, was appreiciated after our long journey, soft comfy beds and great breakfasts, up a hill from the harbour but it was not a problem for us. lots of places to eat in harbour to suit all tastes and budgets. All in all great place to stay and would recommend and stay there again.

Parking was a bit tight but we always got a space.

First impression - lovely house and very attractive garden in a convenient location. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable and friendly. Staff were smiling and helpful. Good food/great cooking -delicious breakfast with fresh fruit. Other guests were quiet, considerate and friendly.

I choose Torcroft hotel because it looked an attractive hotel on the website, and the price met my budget, we were not disappointed. The hotel was tastfully decorated, comfortable and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful and the service was altogether very professional. The breakfasts were delicious! The location was good for the beach, Marina and the Riveria Centre. We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel.

There wasn't anything we did not like about the hotel.

Upon arrival we were made to feel most welcome,the staff were friendly and very helpful.There was a relaxed atmosphere in the Hotel and the proprieters did their utmost to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They took time to ensure we had the right information to visit the attractions in the south Devon area we were keen to visit. I would recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.
