Good location 5mins walk to the river and restaurants
Room was a little on the small side.
Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Clean & comfortable, convenient location from the railway station.
Unsteady TV signal.
The owners of the Guest House were very friendly and gave us a personal service The breakfast was excellent The beds were comfortable Very Clean The bathroom was modern The location was excellent - close to the centre and just 30 mins away by car from Loch Ness
Upon arrival we had help with our bags and orientation of town. Great recommendation for dinner and activities. Family room is very comfortable with quality bed and breakfast.
- Owner very friendly - good advices from owners - parking nearby available
Location, good value, wonderful homecooked breakfast to order.
It's really good place to stay, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and near from the city center. The proprietors, Russel and Ellen were friendly and kind, they advised us abaut the most important things in the area. I would definately return.
The accommodations provided us queen bed for parents and two single beds for adult children. Location was within easy walk to city center. Hosts were very helpful with information on things to see and places of evening entertainment. Food selection were good allowing each of us to vary our selections.Free parking included.
No room set up for socializing with other guests or just relaxing. Not much extra furniture in our room for sitting.
Very friendly staff with a lot of good of pointers to locations around Loch Ness and Inverness. Close to the town center, about 5 minutes walk over a lovely bridge over the river Ness. The house had private parking. The room had been recently renovated and was very cozy, if a little small. Wifi was very good. Modern bathroom, which is rare in this price range. Breakfast was preordered, which was nice.
We had to sleep with the window open, because it was hot, 28+ C, and the street had a lot of traffic, so we didn't sleep as well as we could.
Great hospitality from Russell and wife Ellen who fixed authentic Scottish breakfasts complete with haggis and black pudding and generous portions of mushrooms, toasts, local marmalade etc. Both dining room and bedrooms were beautifully furnished.
While the location is great to access city attractions, the traffic that passes by can easily wake up light sleepers.
very friendly service, much appreciated.
The noise of the traffic in the street.
Owner was very helpful offering street map, stored our luggage as were leaving late pm. Recommended pub with entertainment for dinner which was exellent.
There was nothing I didn't like
The host is wonderfully friendly, the breakfast is very good, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The Torridon is a five minute walk into the older center of the city so we found it very convenient.
No complaints. Parking is tight but the host helped squeeze our car in so no problems.
Excellent Staff. Very helpful. Terrific breakfast. Comfortable bed and good shower. Good location, easy walk into town.
The bathroom had a sliding door that did not really close very well.
Everything wast wonderful - the owner was very helpful, our room was beautiful and breakfast delicious. It was a great start for a new day on our Scotland trip.
Close to the railway station and city centre. Owner was very helpful with city information
Was terribly disappointed by the rudeness of the hosts. Basic hospitality shouldn't be too much to ask for, but apparently it is here.
It is a convenient and centric place. Quiet and cozy. Good and fresh food. Very kind people.
The host is very friendly and the room is comfortable.
Very friendly greeting from the owners, and helped up to the room with my luggage. Local info given, including tips on where to eat. Took the advice and had an excellent evening meal. The room itself was advertised for a single person, but still had a comfy double bed in there. It was of ample size for one person. Good supply of tea and coffee. Facilities were very good, from the nice flat screen tv to shower gels etc. Very clean room, they obviously take pride in their work. Breakfast in the morning proved to be as good as the rest of the standards. Excellent whisky marmalade to spread on the toast, which went very nicely with the Scottish breakfast including haggis.Pleased to see they shared a love of Sherlock Holmes also. This is the best guest house I have stayed in, and highly recommend it.
I was only there for one night!!!!
Great breakfast and lovely room (a little small though).
Very helpful hosts, clean, and great breakfast.
Parking was very tight.
The staff were great, the gent who runs the place couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly, even gave us a map and pointed out some nice restaurants etc... The breakfast was exceptional, fresh fruit, local jams, loads of cereals and a full cooked Scottish! Couldn't ask for more! Great location with regards to walking into town. The room was lovely, cosy but nice and well stocked with towels, tea tray and pillow choccies!
Card machine wasn't working properly, bit faffy and frustrating as I purposefully chose somewhere we would be able to pay on card. Very close to a main road, so couldn't leave the windows open over night, though it was an exceptionally warm week in Inverness. Bed was absolutely boiling! Summer duvets needed.
Great breakfast, clean rooms and lots of helpful tips on things to see from the owner. The owner recommended a pub for dinner, and we actually saw him and his wife there later in the evening. And the food was great there too!
Friendly welcome, clean rooms and good facilities. Food nice with a wide choice for breakfast. In easy access and short walk to the city. Would definitely recommend or stay again.
Access to on site parking, tight corners. May I suggest you move wheely bins away from access drive.
