The staff were friendly and helpful and were keen to hear about our experiences of some of the local attractions so they could recommend them to other guests. The food was very good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Dog friendly with walks and a park for the children close by. Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely old house with lots of character. Just a shame that we couldn't stay longer.

The shower was just a dribble.

The hotel has the charm of an old manse and although some may want all the mod cons we found the location food and staff a real treat. Plenty of local attractions beaches and a wonderful bay at Port Patrick that rivals any in Devon and Cornwall.

Some small items need attention but in general are very good and nothing that would stop us returning

Big spacious room for 4, nice field with playground and soccer goals, beautiful views around the hotel. Lots of vegetarian options on the dinner menu.

Breakfast options limited if you're not into hot food in the morning.

Quiet country location, friendly and helpful owners. Picnic breakfast available if you are getting the early ferry to Ireland. On quiet days you will need a front door key if you intend to get back to the hotel after 9:00 pm

The hotel felt like home from home, I was there with my 2 kids age 7 and 8 and it felt very safe for them. They were able to go out to the swing park and football field right next to the hotel on their own which was great to let the adults finish their meal and relax. I could also see the swing park from my room window. We had the family room which had ample space and was spotlessly clean. The food was absolutely first class with a gorgeous conservatory to eat in which we loved. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and were able to recommend things for us to do. There were plenty of areas round about to explore with the kids. A gorgeous part of the country and this hotel was a lovely base I would definitely go back.

First class mine hosts ever ready to help with requests. Staff were equally obliging. Food was first class and variety excellent. A decent wine list for such a small hotel and a small range but a good variety of Malt Whisky. A good mix of clientele including two interesting German couples and others from all parts of the UK.

The only drawback was that our stay was too short!!

The location was very peaceful, staff very friendly, food tasty. There was a function of about 40 people that departed about 11, didn't hear a thing.

Room very small, no room for suitcase, but we were unable to book normal room, this was advertised as small room.

The staff were very friendly and so were the other people staying there. The food was amazing and portions were very generous. It is well worth the price as both the accommodation and grounds around it are beautiful.
