Staff friendliness and willingness to please and help. Cannot compliment them enough. Comfotable room and wonderful views.

Background music in restaurant and bar. Anything without base would be preferable.

Beautiful location, Hotel full of character, great staff

As on business would like an earlier start time for breakfast (08:30 is a bit late) and would like Wifi in rooms if possible

Loved the view from our window over Lynmouth - second to none. Liked the quirkiness of the hotel. Breakfast was good. Nice to be able to leave the car and walk in and out of Lynmouth

Odd entrance and a bit far to drag the luggage to the door - seemed to access the hotel through the dining room! Asked for ice bucket and was given a pint glass of ice!

In the restaurant one had to take the whole menu, which was too much to eat.

This hotel has an excellent location and the new revamped terrace area is wonderful, especially if you get good weather as we did.

We have been visiting this hotel for 20 years and the bedrooms have not changed much during that time. They are looking a little tired we did not feel that they represented good value for money. I understand that they will be refurbished over the winter so hopefully this matter will be resolved. Some of the staff were excellent, but others were less than helpful.

    The view

Very mis-leading when it comes to the room you'll be staying in. VERY overpriced!

The room was very comfortable. There was a very good sea view from the room. The quality of the food was excellent.

I am not used to steep hills so I found the access to the car park awkward.
