Very Clean, Good Breakfast.

Decor very dated

I thought Linda and Brian (owners ) were very helpful and lovely people .The breakfast the hospitality and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent also the location was good

Provided a very good breakfast. Everything was served to us including cereal etc, very good indeed.

there were some odd sounds at night! Toilet flush was so loud I couldn't flush at night for fear of waking up whole hotel!

The friendly well situated hotel was clean welcoming and did a lovely breakfast.

The shower had to be held while showering as the head seamed to be to heavy

This is a basic 'boarding house,' with some rooms of odd shapes and the ensuite fitted in as best one can. This meant in our case that the double bed was under the window at one end of a long, thin room with barely enough room to get into bed, let alone to have a bedside table! To be fair the owner said it was a small room, but it was really this long thin shape that was the problem. The room otherwise was clean and well decorated, and the welcome was warm and friendly. By far the biggest surprise was the carpark; just up the hill a bit but a separated part of the back of the multi-story car park in the town, complete with card operated barrier! This alone makes the hotel worth patronising, and the proximity to the town centre was excellent

Not a major gripe, but the large corner bath in a tiny bathroom meant the toilet was squeezed in and you had to clench your buttocks to sit on it! A shower would have been much better. Also the breakfast could have been a little more generous, particularly the number of beans! That said, for the money it was fine (though having just returned from the States, we do have to pay far more in the uk for far less than our American cousins do) and we would go back, if after these comments we would be welcome! Just trying to be honest.

Clean and tidy rooms. Excellent english breakfast. Very good location in town centre.

Limited car parking at hotel (but ok overflow car park 100 m up the road). Breakfast time limited to one hour, 8-9 am.

Very friendly and good food for breakfast. Plesant with my son, although I feel this is the right accomodation for 50+

Traffic was noisy

The hotel was spotlessly clean and the people who run it extremely friendly. I found the bedrooms to be comfortable and well equipt and the outside patio area had a lovely view and was great for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Only a short walk to the front it was the perfect base to enjoy the weekend. We will definetly be stopping here again in the future.

This is more of a comment than a dislike. There was a good and varied choice on the breakfast menu and you were welcomed with orange juice and a hot drink but the portion sizes could do with being slightly larger.
