The Hosts. The amazing house and grounds. The very comfortable room. A good bed resulting in a relaxing nights sleep.
I don't know where to begin, what a stunning B&B. Tastefully decorated house in stunning grounds. The owners were very welcoming and the accommodation was amazing, incredibly comfortable room with beautiful views of the garden. The bathroom was gorgeous (shame I couldn't fit it in my overnight bag!). To end, the breakfast the following morning.......absolutely delicious. Definitely going back, but for longer next time.
The location was great given we had a celebration in the village. Nice old house and the owners lovely.
Far too expensive for a rented room in a private dwelling with limited facilities/amenities. Too cold (no atmosphere), reserved and unwelcoming. Dirty cat took over the guest lounge sofa. Breakfast unacceptable.
Super friendly, so comfortable, beautiful & luxurious. Extremely kind and thoughtful owners. They have thought of your every little need and still go out of their way for you during your stay.
Proximity of Railway Station to Hotel to travel into Glasgow. Convenient to visit other parts of the Ayrshire coast.
We were greeted with a very warm welcome from our perfect hosts. The room was very spacious and boasted super king size bed which was very comfy. Our room had a beautiful big bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. After an amazing night sleep we were spoiled for choice with breakfast. I rate my stay 10/10 and will be back. I would recommend tour house to everyone.
The ambience and the grounds were superb as was the beautifully cooked breakfast. The hosts paintings around the walls were fab.
bathroom cabinet over sink left you banging your head when leaning over. A mirror would have left more room. nowhere for ladies to sit and do makeup and hair.
We loved the layout of the room and it was a beautiful home. The breakfast was lovely and served with such care to detail. We were made to feel very welcome In their home.
The wifii did not work at all in the smaller room. It was fine until we had to move rooms.
The house is magnificent and the rooms are very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty with fresh fruit and very enjoyable company of both the hospitable hosts and their sweet cats.
Tour House is an impressive house set in acres of grounds Our room was a good size and very well appointed Excellent breakfast Owners Hilary & Gavin were very friendly & helpful
Quite expensive - possibly due to the fact that we visited during the period of the Commonwealth Games
Excellent property Good size room Good size bathroom Very comfortable bed Very pleasant atmosphere to stay in Very extensive choice for breakfast served in a wonderful dinning room
Gorgeous house and grounds, friendly hosts, nice artwork!
Absolutely everything!! Very hospitable owners, breakfast fantastic and accommodation superb. Could not fault it!!
Nothing - absolutely superb!
Hilary and Gavin were most hospitable, courteous and charming, yet respected your privacy. The house is very tastefully decorated and stunning in many respects. The grounds around the house are delightful. New signage at the gates shows that they take customer comments on board. Delightful :-)
Beautiful room ! Lovely big house ... Lovely staff
A really, wonderfully friendly couple made us feel at home in our beautiful room with an amazing bathroom. The fantastic breakfast topped it all off. Loved it.
Tucked away in Ayrshire and not too far from Glasgow, this place is a hidden gem. A discrete entrance contained in a wall, then down a mysterious tree lined driveway, which eventually opens out to reveal the Tour, contained within what feels like a 'secret garden'. Once inside you feel like you have entered a Jane Austen novel, coupled with all the luxuries of the 21st century. Greeted by Gavin and Hilary, who are very amenable and friendly. The rooms are amazing, the gardens magical and the breakfast is delicious. A true find and we will certainly be returning.
The house was stunning, room was very spacious
What a find! Bed and bathroom was amazing. Gavin was a great host. If you stay here you won't be disappointed fantastic bed & breakfast.
Very special experience. A beautiful home in wonderful surroundings. Exceptional service and facilities. Hilary and Gavin are most attentive hosts. Nothing was a trouble. A memorable experience for both of us.
No signage made the entrance initially hard to find.
Hilary & Gavin are welcoming hosts and have a lovely, well-furnished old Georgian house. Our room was spacious and well appointed and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was superb. Location is peaceful and quiet.
Not very well signposted, almost missed the entrance in the dusk, and the driveway was a bit muddy.
This was a beautiful House. There was plenty to do in the surrounding area. Great for a peaceful weekend away
the driveway was a bit muddy. thats the only downside.
We loved everything about Tour House. I don't normally write reviews but I had to for this B&B. It was an absolutely gorgeous stay, with perfect hosts, including two of friendliest cats we've ever met! There is nothing bad I can say about Tour House. Exquisite.
A charming host
The service was impeccable - we were well looked after by Hilary and Gavin, they couldn't do enough. Luxury accommodation, the house is beautiful. Breakfast was delicious - nothing was too much trouble.
