Alison was really lovely. Gardens were nicely looked after.
If you don't have a car It's very out of the way.
The location was good, although a little tricky to find. Pleasant surroundings and nice garden.
The bed was very uncomfortable and seemed to be a cast off. The noise of the family during the night (crying babies) was disturbing.
It was quirky. Nice rooms. Good breakfast freshly cooked.
Noisy children in next door room.
Alison was really lovely a great hostess and good cook.
Our room over looked industrial units and a guy with a disc saw or power sander which kind of undermined the lovely country setting of tower hall.
the bed. the baking hot breakfast room. the unsightly yard at front. poor lighting to entrance.
Alison's hospitality. Unique & stylish
Location and room size was good as was history of building. Breakfast was excellent.
Value for money was weak, given premium pricing.
Really really hot. The breakfast room, the bedroom was hot and the hot water was scalding made having a shower really unpleasant.
The friendly service and oldie world character. Also the size of the bedroom/bathroom.
Couldn't fault the accommodation.
Well appointed rooms Good breakfast Service at breakfast
Owners had 3 young children under the age of 5 who screamed for attention at 5am and were not in same location as parents. Toddler running around naked. Children running past room screaming/ shouting. No bulb in bedside light. Shaver socket not working. Material stuffed around TV to infill previous TV size. Cobwebs! Hushed tones on arrival to make allowances for young family. Overpriced!
It was an old beautiful building, the rooms were fantastic and very well equipped, we were stating to watch the marathon it was very close to sway
Very good breakfast Staff very helpful and friendly interesting venue
Shower had problems with soak away. More of a B/B than a Hotel
very expensive B&B with the lack of toiletries like shower gel shampoo etc. although Lilian is welcoming she does not answer the phone so its pot luck turning up to find anyone there. first impression as we arrived was what have we done.
Spacious bedroom and excellent bathroom
Rather remote location and difficulty in finding. The name of the property is poorly displayed.
Friendly welcoming atmosphere
Great location. Lovely old building with nice grounds. Large room and good breakfast. Welcoming host.
