We had a wonderful stay in these apartments. The representative who met us was very pleasant and ensured any questions he had were answered. The apartment was spotlessly clean, had everything we could possibly need and more! We loved the contemporary Decor. The apartment was light & bright and in an excellent location. All communication I have had with Portland Brown staff has been very positive and all staff were professional, polite and ensured I had no unanswered questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Location near to underground station and very cosy apartment

Very close to London Tower and other historical monuments. The people from Tower Hill Apartments are very helpfull (last day, after the check out, they kept my bags at their office so that I could enjoy the afternoon... Thank you guys!)

1. The location - the apartment is near the tube and near Tower Hill 2. The cleanness and the security of the apartmentment 3. The fully equiped apartment - there is everything what you need to feel like home during your stay 4. the staff is smiley and helpfull.

1. The apartment (Nr.3) is extremly noisy - you cannot sleep at all - only for the few hours at night. That’s a big problem nevertheless if you choose the apartment for your business trip or for your vacation – you cannot have a rest and to feel relaxed on the next morning. Because the apartment is on the ground floor (and one of the walls is made of glass bricks and is just like huge window next to the street) the worse thing was that every evening or morning very very early at about 5 am. The dustmen start pulling at first in one direction and after that back in another direction one by one every single litter-bin (at least 5) and this happend just next to the window where was our bed and in case we have luck the dust cart entered in the yard and the noise was not so awfully irritating, because nobody pulled nothing. And when the "garbage" noise just ended the next noise that ruins your sleep are the housekeepers. At 7 or 8 am for next 1 hour or more the ladies started pulling their carts or whatever and loudly talking on their language and laughing in the corridor and slamming doors and that is the total end of your sleep. If I have to be sincere the street which is just next to the apartment and the feeling that all the cars, trucks, trains are in your apartment is nothing in comparison with the mentioned above – because the street noise ended in the midnight. The main reason that I cannot recommend this apartment is the noise - this is not normal for place where you have to take a rest and to have a good holyday – it is perfect may be for office or daily work, but not for apartment to sleep. 2. The apartment is too warm and stifling inside. We were in the mid of April there and it was so warm I can hardly imagine how can someone survive in the summertime there.

Somebody from the staff have come inside the appartment while we were sleping in there. It scared us.

Ideal location. Minutes from tube station in zone 1 on 2 main lines. Easy walking distance to many attractions. Good sized apartment.

-Studio is too small -location is a little bit far from city centre - photos of studio in booking.com is completely differs than true

Customer service is very good. The room is modern and comfortable for us. I really love this place.

I would like to say everything in the apartment is excellent, including the location.

Housekeepers only come once a week and check-out time is too early

Location, location and location: very close to subway exit and there is a small supermarket nearby , which is very good for this kind of apartment with cooking facility. new and fresh inside. self containing and well equipped.( apart from no microwave)

hotel has very strict check in time and is unable to get luggage stored before check in time.

Staff was very kindly and helpful. The apartment is modern and good located (only 3 min walking from Tower Brigde and Tower Hill station).

Rooms were well appointed and clean. Basic, but they had everything I required. Close to several tube lines which was very handy. Reasonably priced for London.

Minor things really. Noise from the street (I was on the ground floor) but thats to be expected. The Hotel specifies in its information book that it will consistently contact you, checking you are happy. Similarly the member of staff that gave me the keys said they would return to replenish missing utensils. Neither of these things happened. It did not affect my stay, it just irked that they did not come good on their promises.

too close to the railway this will keep you awake all night!! and when i mean close i mean close as close as actually sleeping on a carraige and then there is the under arch buisnesses they will also add to the noise so if your slightly deaf this is the place for you

Enough space for adults and children, a rarity in London and many cities. Close to lots of different aspects of London. Easy to find. Would use again

The weather could have been a bit warmer so that we could have gone out on the balcony!!! Lack of baggage storage before check in time. You offered it to me at £15 per hour, I stored it at Liverpool St station for £8.50 which covered 24 hours! Maybe something you want to look in to providing as you have quite a late check in.

everything, the city view when you see on the sofa, the balcony, the fully equipped kitchen that every mum will love, easy access to the tube station (<5 mins walk!) and options of supermarket (< 5 mins walk!) and restaurants around the area.

Good location, well appointed clean nice apartment.

Not where I booked, but actually better. Unfortunately the communication around the moved location was v poor. The apartment windows were effectively single glazed and lorries arrived early in the morning to deliver to nearby restaurants. Luckily I had ear plugs, so managed to sleep, but without would have had no chance of sleeping through the noise of delivery carts, etc.

Place was close to my business office.

The appartment was on the ground floor.

Room quality - help when we had a problem

Booked thro booking.com re location. Apartment location not per site. Credit card not accepted and telephoned booking.com and lied to. Took days to sort out an acceptable ( and very comfortable flat). But not where I wanted to stay. Difficult to impossible contact over weekend.

Apartment was beautifully decorated, very new and clean. Good location and friendly staff.

Would be nice to have a place to store your luggage after check out at the apartment.

Great place to spend the weekend, great location and great service on arrival. Will definitely be booking again in. The near future.

Liked where it was, liked the layout, liked its cleanliness, great place for long weekend or even for one night.

Not enough hot water. Could have had more coffee/tea/milk as its not something you want to think about. Lounge lights didn't work which we were made aware of after an upgrade as original apartment had heating issues! Then found out main front door wasn't working so had to get concierge to open every time we went out!! Grrrrr Noisy in the early hours of the morning from delivery vans, rubbish collectors etc.

The apartment was very nice and my girlfriend and i had a lovely, relaxing stay.

The frosted windows were a bit weird and didn't let much light in. The broadband wasn't set up straight away for when we got there but this may have just been bad timing. That's about it though. There could have been more complimentary tea bags :)

Location

No concierge service so we would unfortunately not use any of Portland apts again. Firstly, the representative who was to meet Mr Mata was late. He gave Mr Mata the keys to the apt and main door entrance but when Mr Mata returned later that evening the main door entrance key swipe didnt work so he couldnt gain entry to the block. No one picked up the contact telephone number he had been given and after numerous attempts at buzzing other tenants in the block, luckily the concierge of that particular building opened the door eventually. He said the swipe card hadnt been activated and asked Mr Mata numerous questions as to how he rented the apt etc. All sounded a bit bizzare!
