Good location good accommodation Tasty breakfast

Noisy, messy bar. Non- residents are numerous and boisterous. Don't go in the summer and expect a quiet or early night' s sleep. Don't have a bedroom at the back of hotel. Wifi didn't work.

Poor food. Too noisy. Open to public as well as guests so too busy needing bouncer at door, meaning more of a busy pub than decent hotel.

This hotel is a great base to explore Lincoln and would also be good for a romantic weekend. I stayed for business and was very impressed by my experience and will return.

Very nice atmosphere around hotel and in the bar. The decor was excellent, room was just right, warm and cosy, comfortable bed. Helpful staff throughout and the cooked breakfast was really good. All in all it was a real positive surprise for the price.

even with the heating off the room was akin to a sauna. Of course if it was cold I would have complained then too, you cant win.

Staff always willing to help, friendly well dressed/smart, polite. my group was a working group (hi viz hands on) but was treated the same as any other guest. this is sometimes not the case. 10 out of 10, we have re-booked next week

The staff were professional, courteous, helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and very well managed. The food in the restaurant was out of this world and worthy of just dining at the hotel even if you were not staying. I was on a business trip but intend to take my wife to this hotel as I was that impressed. It is ideally suited for all the sights, shops etc. in Lincoln. The hotel has a good reputation and this is very well deserved.

No free parking, but not an issue, lots of public parking nearby. Room was quite small, OK for 1, maybe 2 nights (in my room)

Lovely small Hotel with individually decorated rooms which gave it a more personal touch. Lively bar area to start off the evening. Excellent staff. Breakfast lovely. Close to the boutique shops near Bailgate area. Walk 10 mins down Steep Hill to main shopping area. Would stay again. Hotel refund half your parking ticket from the NCP across the road.

The location was great for us.The staff were extremely polite and helpfull. would definately use again and reccommend.

Excellent food, particularly in the restaurant. Rooms were comfy and cosy for winter time. Situated in city centre.

Parking can be a bit troublesome, as there is no designated parking for hotel guests.

It was very friendly from the moment we arrived, very welcoming. The rooms were wonderful, and the wine bar was a great place and again very friendly. Drink prices are good. Overall I would definitely return, it's a great location for everything.
