The Tower Hotel  

It was warm, welcoming all the staff were very good and recognised us from previous stays at the hotel. The food and wines were good as we have come to expect.

There was nothing at all that we didn't like.

Noisey floor boards, was woke up 4 in the morning due to noisey floorboards, unable to get off to sleep thereafter.

We stayed at the Tower Hotel on the 22nd March for 2 nights in the Bagshaw room which was so very clean and very spacious, the staff could not do enough for you and the food was cooked to perfection will def stay gain.

weekend went too quick despite the snow.

Fabulous room, cannot be faulted

the lovely ceilings and art deco lights in the bar,nice staff.

Loved the features of the building, the staff were on hand and friendly. Had a peaceful night's sleep, comfortable bed and not rushed in anyway for meals.

Was deceived on the perception of what the rooms would look like in comparison to the websites photo's. I assumed all the rooms looked luxurious as shown also in brochure, however ours (room 4) was rather basic.

I was very disappointed that before 7:45 I had to have the express breakfast and was not able to have the normal breakfasts. I think the normal breakfasts should be available from 7am which is a perfectly normal time to be having breakfast, especially if you have to go to work or catch the ferry to Holland. In this case the express breakfast basically consisted of toast and jam, rather basic, and not what I expected from what appeared to me to be a luxury hotel. I was expecting, and looking forward to, a buffet style with various breads, pastries, fruit salad, etc, as well as the cooked breakfast.

The hotel, rooms, food and service were excellent.

The Tower Hotel is set inside an old Italian style 1885 built house. A very romantic setting within the town of Harwich. The rooms are modified for hotel accommodation, but the ambiance is good and the staircases in the Lobby area very grand. The people were friendly, the room comfortable and the price reasonable. It is a very short walk to the town, where there are a variety of shops.

Very clean, nice river views, very pleasant staff .good parking and although I didnt use the facilities the restaurant and bar looked very nice

We have stayed there before and enjoyed our stay very much no so this time

This time we felt the room we were given was a bit cramped and we were a little disappointed there was only a shower no bath. We felt that we would have had more room has we gone to the premier inn

The location is excellent for the ferry port. Grand entry!

The room was too warm and the free WiFi did not make it into our room at the back of the building so we had to sit in the lounge for reception.

This really should be designated a 4 Star hotel.
