Spa looked excellent. Speed of reception staff. Lots of parking space.
Air conditioning noise - sounded like there was a wave pool in the room (no 16). Lack of vegetarian food and choice of light main meals - most items were with a 'heavy' sauce.
Clean room with comfy beds Breakfast Quite quite
Our room was big and very comfortable and clean. Loved the swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym.
Wifi didn't work in annexe and was irritating to be fobbed off at reception, being told that "it was working earlier" or "other guests are ok" when, having spoken to other guest this was visibly untrue. All the food served was beautifully cooked, but a bit unimaginative, no fish or cheese or different breads and the staff in restaurant were unfriendly. Some disturbed sleep due to noisy guests at the various functions.
The convenience of staying overnight following attending an event at the hotel. Breakfast was good.
I was upgraded to the Tower, which was lovely, beautifully appointed but I felt isolated as I was on my own. I would have preferred a room in the main building.
Wasnt even told where the pool and spa was. Wasnt made welcome everything was about the wedding that was there. Room 35 hair in the bath cracked sink and spit over the wall by the bed not very clean must have forgot about the other guests
Handy location for Swansea and Gower. Less expensive than some other local hotels. Nice breakfast.
Hotel gardens and outside furniture could do with more attention
Facilities great, nice friendly staff and food was good too can't ask for more, thanks to all
Only thing was money for the lockers in the spa as I have not seen this before in hotel before
Polite friendly staff Lovely food Spa treatments are amazing and highly recommended Very clean hotel and rooms Large comfortable beds.
Nothing to do within walking distance. Poor disabled access to spa facilities You have to pay to hire robes for the spa if you have treatments that cost less than £50
Pleasant location and ideal for visiting the Gower area. Clean, comfortable rooms. Pool, steam room, sauna and hot tub really nice. Relaxing loungers around the pool and outside on the patio, fantastic if the sun's out. Great spa treatments if you can actually get a booking slot but that means booking well ahead. Food in the restaurant was good but would recommend the tap bar if you want something lighter.
I think it is rather misleading to call this a spa hotel since the spa treatments aren't really a facility available to hotel guests. It would be more honest to describe it as a day spa attached to the hotel which unfortunately gives booking precedence to external guests with hotel guests merely getting the left over slots. If you book a hotel room you stand very little chance of there being any spa availability unless you book months in advance. We travelled hundreds of miles on the basis of the advertised treatments but were very disappointed to find none of the treatments were actually available to hotel guests because they were already booked out with day guests. We ate at the restaurant several times and found staff were a bit hit & miss, some excellent, friendly and helpful whilst others let the hotel down as they were more interested in chatting with their colleagues than attending to guests.
Very clean and very good staff
Neither bedside lights worked on one side
Told a few friends about the towers as I had already stayed in the past and it didn't disappoint, fantastic time had by all . Hadn't eaten there before so had a meal on the Friday which was very good once again stayed in a fantastic room
If there was anything I didn't like would be the gym equipment which I feel needs updating but it was useable
The facilities were great, rooms clean and good breakfast
price was more expensive than last time only couple of pound
Pool and gym area good
There were wedding parties on both nights of my stay. The first night was ok but the second, a large group of guests were gathered outside at 2.30am making a lot of noise. Two were in corridor outside my room talking loudly for considerable time. If possible non- wedding guests should be housed well away from wedding guests to avoid disturbances. TV instructions were not accurate and there seemed to be intermitant connectivity issues_ possibly just battery in remotes needed replacing?
Spa & Pool are very good.
Room was a bit tired and needed a refresh. Food was very bland.
catered for a coeliac guest brilliantly mostly friendly staff facilities were great
one or two moody staff. not much space to make bookings for treatment. Needs a water cooler in the pool area.
Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant and at breakfast was very good.
