Lovely stay. Room was clean and tidy and fab breakfast delivered to the room.
good food and drink
Room was fantastic, very spacious with full Sky TV, very comfortable bed and quality bathroom. Reception staff very helpful and spa facilty excellent, with free towels, sauna, steam, jacuzzi and indoor pool. Great place to stay when visiting the Uni.
Gym equipment needs servicing, rowing machine displays did not work, and running machines slipped a lot.
We arrived myself and my niece (36), we were so impressed with the hotel. Everything was so much more than we expected from the photos on booking. My niece had cancer and enjoyed this so much. So sadly my niece passed away 2 weeks later but we had such a lovely memorable time. Thank you so much for this.
Not enough photos to show the real size and areas of hotel
Every thing was good location is great pubs all really close if you didn't want to eat the excellent restaurant in the hotel
Preferred the walk in shower of the top floor which I requested when booking, but nothing was said to me upon arival which was disappointing but didn't stop us enjoying our break
Staff, food, bar atmosphere, gym, pool, location, price everything about the whole experiance
Surly staff, untidy restauarnt at breakfast, had to chase staff for buffet food, very poor internet access
Very relaxing food excellent
Spa facilities not open late enough
Room and facilities were fine, spa area was very nice, clean and good, warm swimming pool. Most staff is friendly and helpful. Location is nice and quiet.
Breakfast was really modest for continental folks (but they are minority here I guess). Although the restaurant claims to have some interesting wines it is not very obvious from the wine list and staff has no knowledge on that area.
Lovely Hotel. Nice staff, lovely food. Venue ideal suited for wedding
Bed needed to be changed. You could feel the springs.
My room lacked nothing, and the food was quality, Worth a visit
staff always ready to help, warm and clean in all area's, bar could do with updating but over all an enjoyable stay
Swiming, walking, good places to visit and eat.all in all a realy good time.
Comfortable room, good evening bar food
Poor wifi connection, unappetising, lukewarm "hot" breakfast buffet, grubby leisure facilities, overpriced
Efficient check-in and check-out Food and restaurant with good service Free Wi-fi and Sky entertainment Location and parking
Not a dislike, but Wi-fi and phone signal can be a bit weak in lower floor rooms.
the fact that my wife is celiac (gluten intolerant) and the staff made sure she had food she could eat .going the extra mile is always a bonus to us as regular hotel visitors..:0)
the gym and spa..pool is excellent but the staff are amazing and made our stay!
strange layout and too much upvc for an old building.
Staff helpfulness Good facilities Excellent food
Room on ground floor had French doors, unable to lock.
Staff excellent. Very clean. Very comfortable beds. All in all a really good hotel. Comment in the negatives below will only affect anyone staying a few nights.
Standard policy about re-using towels. However in our room there was no radiator, nor a towel rail to dry the towels.
Wasn't keen on the maids that woke us up three times before 10.00 am to clean room
