Spa looked excellent. Speed of reception staff. Lots of parking space.
Air conditioning noise - sounded like there was a wave pool in the room (no 16). Lack of vegetarian food and choice of light main meals - most items were with a 'heavy' sauce.
Clean room with comfy beds Breakfast Quite quite
The convenience of staying overnight following attending an event at the hotel. Breakfast was good.
I was upgraded to the Tower, which was lovely, beautifully appointed but I felt isolated as I was on my own. I would have preferred a room in the main building.
Handy location for Swansea and Gower. Less expensive than some other local hotels. Nice breakfast.
Hotel gardens and outside furniture could do with more attention
Facilities great, nice friendly staff and food was good too can't ask for more, thanks to all
Only thing was money for the lockers in the spa as I have not seen this before in hotel before
Told a few friends about the towers as I had already stayed in the past and it didn't disappoint, fantastic time had by all . Hadn't eaten there before so had a meal on the Friday which was very good once again stayed in a fantastic room
If there was anything I didn't like would be the gym equipment which I feel needs updating but it was useable
Pool and gym area good
There were wedding parties on both nights of my stay. The first night was ok but the second, a large group of guests were gathered outside at 2.30am making a lot of noise. Two were in corridor outside my room talking loudly for considerable time. If possible non- wedding guests should be housed well away from wedding guests to avoid disturbances. TV instructions were not accurate and there seemed to be intermitant connectivity issues_ possibly just battery in remotes needed replacing?
Spa & Pool are very good.
Room was a bit tired and needed a refresh. Food was very bland.
catered for a coeliac guest brilliantly mostly friendly staff facilities were great
one or two moody staff. not much space to make bookings for treatment. Needs a water cooler in the pool area.
Room was large, clean and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant and at breakfast was very good.
Location, facilities, price
Lack of parking close to the hotel reserved for residents.
I liked the pool and leisure facilities. Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Food at the evening meal was poor and quite expensive given the poor quality. Room was pretty basic for the price.
Quiet room and comfortable bed. Lovely view from room of tower. Air con very effective. Very efficient and welcoming check-in by lady on reception.
Tired decor needing attention i.e broken mosaic tiles in bathroom, bathroom door paintwork very worn, built up grubbiness along edges and corners, huge cobweb from ceiling in our friends' room. Staples used to hold curtains together not very attractive either!
I was insulted by having to sign a declaration on the registration form that I accepted liability for theft from my room. I also found it irritating to be called 'mate' by the barman - I was a paying customer, not a workman!
Swimming pool open for good range of times. Bacon and egg for breakfast. Quiet and dark at night.
Corridors and reception etc need sprucing up. Looks a bit scruffy compared to Holiday Inn up the road where we have stayed before. Rooms are fine tho.
Food Service Facilities
Good facilities in hotel and room. Choice of dining in separate bar, restaurant and lounge. Friendly staff
Travelling with grandchild, the pool had no shallow end but it did not cause any particular problems as we supervised her at all times
Welcome at reception. Food at dinner and staff there. Pool wonderful. Easy to find.
Most uncomfortable bed. Ordered salad n bacon roll for lunch. Unappetising. Arrived with roll split in 2. Lettuce n 2 bacon had fallen out of dry bread. Service at lunch poor. Hard to believe it same place we had such a nice dinner and attentive service.
Excellent location and facilities. Large car park that was never full despite there being a wedding and another major event during our stay. Also, we didn't hear a thing in our room from either event. So, well done.
The air conditioning in our room was adequate but seemed as if it was struggling to cope, as we could hear gurgling noises from it. It probably needed recharging with refrigerant gas.
Clean room, good bathroom, helpful reception staff.
Difficult to locate turnoff from Port Talbot turning. Outside of hotel could be tidier and some staff smoke just outside reception area - not a good appearance.
Nice environment, we enjoyed the pool and the quality english breakfast.
convenience, facilities helpfulness
We chose this hotel as part of a last minute getaway and I wasn't sure what to expect.....purely because it only had a 3* rating. We were very pleasantly surprised! We had a room in the separate building which was above the spa/pool area. First class room, absolutely huge, air con, full Sky HD (hubby was happy!) all very well decorated to a hight standard. I used the pool both mornings which was fab, but unfortunatley didn't have time to use the spa facilities. Used the restaurant on the first evening and the staff were very helpful accommodating both of us being 'picky' eaters as well as being vegetarian! We had breakfast both mornings which was of good quality and plenty of choice.
