Town Hall Hotel & Apartments    

- Our 2-room apartment was very spacious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed our travelling party of 4 to stay comfortably. The living and dining area provided us with ample space to congregate, have meals, chill out and even to carry out some basic housekeeping. - The interior of the apartment was spotless and pleasing. We liked that the floors were not carpeted and that every room was well-lit and well-ventilated. - The apartment came stocked with every modern household amenity and facility that one would require for a short-, or even long-, term stay. The washing machine and dryer, coffee maker (with excellent complimentary coffee), microwave oven, dishwasher etc. gave us the trappings of home. - The service at the hotel is impeccable. We loved that the hotel makes an effort to deliver a selection of freshly baked macarons door-to-door on a daily basis (and should one fail to answer the door, one will find a plate of these treats in the room at the end of a weary day). Complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water and milk were readily available and complimentary (and excellent) coffee and tea sachets were restocked every day. When one of my family members fell ill, the hotel very promptly called a doctor and repeatedly checked in with us to see if we were holding up well; well-wishes and hugs flowed freely thereafter. We felt thoroughly spoilt by the warmth and attention to detail.

- We drove and found parking space outside the hotel very limited. The alternative is to park at a private garage about 10 minutes away from the hotel for about GBP10 per day. - Despite the hotel being conveniently located at a 5-7 minute walk from the Bethnal Green tube station, it still takes some time to get to the city centre via the London Underground. - The hotel gym and pool are small.

Staff organised and efficient. Hotel had parking right outside (weekend only). apartment lovely and spacious, beds very comfortable. They had thought of everything.

The amazing apartment we stayed. it was the nicest, coolest space have stayed in in london before. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful; couldnt do more for us. We loved it.

The staff make the place. And after that everything is just as good. Brilliant and beautifully furnished public areas. A sense of space I've seldom enjoyed at this price level. Unbelievable food (only ate at The Corner Room but...) and stunningly comfortable, spacious and well designed rooms/apartments. Didn't get to try the pool/gym but was told it was just as splendid as the rest. Am already booking my next two stays.

Hot corridors and lack of a bar on Monday. Not much at all really ;)

Location, friendliness & helpfulness of staff, cleanliness of hotel and hotel facilities.

No thought about families with children has gone into providing a child friendly menu in either of the restaurants so we had to eat out elsewhere.

It has a washing machine and dryer in the room which makes it quite convenient. The hotel staff are nice and very helpful. The hotel pool is also very lovely.

It's a bit far from the tourist attractions but is quite close to a metro. We left our key card in the electric slot so the washing machine and dryer would continue to work whilst we are out but the cleaning staff conveniently took it out to save electricity. We came back to the hotel to some soggy half washed clothes.

The room was fantastic with 2 separate bedrooms & each had it's own bathroom. There was a more than adequate kitchen area with every utility needed including a washing machine for longer stays.

The swimming pool was really cold. We complained about it but was told it was the right temparature. Unfortunately the staff at the hotel did not experience my 4 year old son sitting on the side dithering & his teeth chattering. It was even colder the next day...?

Amazing Hotel with polite friendly staff and great for ease by either tube or overground train being close by (within) 400 yards. We took our 2 year old girl and she loved it. Would recommend this to any friends or family. Amazing value and with 5 Star Hotels would not disagree.

Tastefully done up apartments, clean and comfortable. Not far from the underground and has laundry facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff...had a problem with one window and it was remedied that day. Top marks.

I loved the decor, the calm atmosphere

I loved that the location allowed us to be away from the extreme crowds. We chose an apartment and it was so nice to be able to eat in for breakfast and quick meals. We also loved having a space to be together at the end if the day.

Wonderful rooms, bathroom with beautiful tub, very friendly and helpful staff, and the best gourmet room service /breakfast you can imagine. Did I mention the swimming pool long enough to enjoy doing a few laps...

Location is a little out but as the Bethnall Green tube is on the Central Line this doesn't matter as you are into Oxford St in 15 minutes. Actually being outside town means you smell the fresh air too...

The staff were all friendly & very helpful.The bed was extremely comfortably, with a beautiful goose down quilt. It was near the tube and train stations and bus stops to central London. The apartment was very well equipped. Wish I had booked for longer. Would have liked to spend more time in Victoria Park.

There is not much of a view, but as this is the East End of London, I did not expect one. The designer did try to camouflage this with a very nice metal screen. We could see out but when outside the hotel you could not see in.

It's very stylish, niclely designed and beautiful furnitures. Great restaurants there.

The apartments were so unique, beautifully designed. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful.We loved the macaroons brought to our room.

For an extended stay (I was there 11 nights), it doesn't get much better than this (a 1-BR apartment). Close to The City, reasonable distance from the West End, etc. Far more spacious than the typical London hotel room, and when the property was renovated, whoever was responsible for designing and equipping the rooms did a terrific job with the cooking and bathing areas. Turn-down service with cookies, yum.

Furniture in the sitting area not up to the rest of the unit, and the working desk was a bit awkward, but these are both very minor points.

Hotel was very special, lovely atmosphere, apartment was beautifully designed, exceptional. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. Kitchen was great, liked expresso machine and 'real' milk in the fridge. Quirky, arty, my friends were very impressed. Staff were friendly and kind.

I booked through your site but was quoted a cheaper price from the hotel afterwards. Not your fault I think, but hotel wouldn't match price. We had a meal at the Corner Room which was recommended, unfortunately I had one of the most awful meals, Im a foodie and not usually fussy, but I feel they were being a tad pretentious. I literally couldn't eat the slimy chewy meal. Although my friends enjoyed theirs, [they all had same but me]. We asked three receptionists at the hotel for some basic local directions, none of which could help, as they 'didn't live in the zone', which we thought a bit strange, but only a minor issue.

Rooms very well equipped, great design and artwork throughout hotel. Very friendly staff. Gourmet breakfast...and swimming pool. It doesn't get better.
