Good b&b overall, but the breakfast is outstanding. Full English that includes eggs from their own free-range chickens, home made yoghurt, fresh fruit... absolutely delicious.
Staff were very friendly and efficient et helpful. Breakfast was great!
Front room we stayed in was very noisy et smelt of bacon since dining room was next door. Beds were awful. For the price we could have stayed in a comfortable 4 star hotel with ease.
Beautiful Victorian house, loved our fresh & bright family room with marble & wrought iron hearth, modern facilities. Easy walkable access to town, quay & uni. Charming service, thoughtful staff. Well organised guest house for visitor convenience. We shall certainly stay here again.
Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with home-produced food. Very convenient location
Great attention to detail.
Wonderful location, excellent facilities, very friendly and helpful staff, home-made jams at breakfast. Perfect stay.
Lovely staff and lovely breakfast; free range eggs & home made marmalade -fab!
Someone put a key in the door and tried to ope, I called out to them and they went away, happened on first night, got a fright. They did not speak, when I called out. Just turned away, feel it was a male but not sure as did not open door, based on heaviness of foot. I did not say to staff as otherwise stay went well. This happened after 11pm on the 10th of February 2015.
Very accommodating for both me and the dog, I was made to feel welcome and the dog was given her own blanket despite me having brought her bed which was a nice touch. Parents have stayed here before and also enjoyed it hence the choice of B&B. Always feels like a welcome home with excellent breakfasts, everything you could need in your room and spotlessly clean.
Free WiFi, kind staff, nice spacious rooms, homemade breakfast was really good (homemade jams and yogurt are delicious) and I really liked that the b&b was conscious of using ethical products.
The house was a short walk from the town centre and our room was very warm, which was welcome during such cold weather.
This was not our first visit and again the hospitality and comfort given to us did not disappoint. The owner is welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent looking forward to visiting again soon.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The atmosphere was lovely, and it was a nice touch naming the rooms after literary characters and then making copies of the relevant books available to read. Very comfortable and welcoming. Lots of little touches just made it a brilliant stay.
Welcoming, Homely, Delicious breakfast, spotlessly clean, convenien, effefficiently run..
Although this hotel looks like a haunted house from the outside inside it is lovely. Very quiet and very clean and everything you could possibly need. Even fresh coffee and a cafetiere. Ideally located 5 minutes walk from St David's station and 5 minutes into the city centre. Very friendly and cheerful staff.
I had the Miss Jean Brodie room.Although a nice cosy room not great for a tall person as the ceilings are slanted with a very low lamp shade so you have to move about bent over to avoid hitting your head.
Walking distance to the shops. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
price, breakfast, friendly, close to center
biological soap powder in bed linen
Beautiful house, lots of lovely personal touches. Really lovely selection of fresh coffee, teas and water in the room. Felt very welcome. I would definitely recommend.
We stayed in the quad room - which was lovely. Four single beds ( not bunks) and private ensuite- with enough room and mirrors for 4 girls to get ready for an evening out. The room was simple but everything was comfortable and there were nice touches like a big selection of teas/coffees/ hot chocolates provided together with bottled water. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely (full english) and there were also fruits and cereals etc available. Staff very friendly and helpful, and parking outside on the street by way of permit. Highly recommend!
The property is very comfortable and was super warm on a really cold weekend. I had the single room at the top which has a separate bathroom but it is almost en-suite as it's yours alone and a very nice size. Everything was very clean and felt well looked after. Breakfast could not be faulted. I have stayed in one or two others whilst visiting my daughter at the uni and they haven't been a patch on The Town House.
What I like about townhouse, very friendly staff, that are there if you require something, and make you feel welcome, thank you t,house.Stuart wort
Things I didn't like,I can sincerely say there was nothing I didn't like about .t,house.Stuart wort.
They are always welcoming and will help with anything they can during your stay.
Breakfast very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Location great - quiet but only 10 mins walk into town.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great and immaculate. Check - in was easy and quick.
Nothing. It was excellent.
I loved the room with its theme and all the little extras had been added. Towels, soaps, teas, coffees. The staff were lovely too. We will definitely stay again. So close to town and a fabulous pub with excellent food
If I had to be picky then the heating was a Tadd warm but as its winter time that's not really a bad thing. The lighting was a bit dim but I guess its the energy saving light bulbs
