The comfortable lodge was beautifully decorated and fully equipped for an ideal secluded, peaceful break. The gardens and quiet countryside location were very relaxing and proximity of Oxford, river towns and countryside restaurants provided enough to do along with long country walks if required. Interesting wildlife in immediate surroundings. May be too quiet if visitors were not aware of exact location.

“Second time of staying here. Lovely setting in the village of Gt Missenden. Close to other beautiful villages and good shopping in High Wycombe. Missenden Abbey is value for monry and in a good location. Breakfast is excellent as it is buffet style.” Nan, Nuneaton |
