The warm reception and friendliness. Great living room and perfect bed room/bathroom . Wonderful breakfast. Really helpful information ,how to get the best out of our visit, despite the rain.
Made to feel very welcome. Very comfortable & clean. Very friendly & eager to help with planning the outings for the day. Most helpful. Food excellent. A most enjoyable break
Good proximity to Exmoor and the Quantocks Extraordinary friendliness and attentiveness of the owners Two very friendly, cute and adorable dogs
Almost too good to be true. Simply excellent.
A very warm welcome from Nick, who took our bags to our room. Everything we needed to know about the facilities and the area explained. A welcoming pot of coffee before we settled in. Brilliant choices at breakfast, served with friendly banter. A place to return to. Thank you Nick & Melinda!
A lovely farmhouse with warm and friendly hosts. Magnificent breakfast and a perfect location for visiting Dunster Castle and the rest of this lovely coastline.
The only minor criticisms were the wi-fi occasionally being a bit hit and miss and the walk to the local pub although quite short, was a bit tricky along the busy A39. However neither of these points were enough to spoil what was otherwise a delightful couple of days.
comfy mood and amazing welcome
poor connection of Wifi
Delicious breakfasts, good wifi, location was perfect not too busy, slept well and wasn't noisy. Comfy bed, quality linen and towels.
Lovely spacious bedroom (Rose Room) with a very comfortable bed. Excellent shower, hot and powerful. Breakfasts were simply superb, tasty, well cooked and a good choice.
Lights in the bedroom and the lounge were a bit dim for reading. I put a Bible which was on top of the bedside cabinet in a drawer. When we came back to our room it had been taken out and put on the window sill. I do not expect my hosts to check through the drawers.
Beautiful spot in English countryside with very warm welcome. Nick gave excellent advise on places to visit locally-the walk to Dunster is gorgeous. Breakfast omelettes delicious!
Nothing except wifi a bit hit and miss-to be expected in 350 yr old house though
Great place for a one night stop. Home comforts with smiles. We walked to Dunster Castle from the doorstep of the B and B across the deer park.
Warm welcome with tea. good quality furnishings ,bedding, decoration and cleanliness. Wide variety of choices for breakfast with prompt service. Friendly, helpful hosts, nothing too much trouble, relaxed atmosphere.
Lack of mobile phone signal in the area! Would have liked fried bread or hash browns included on cooked breakfast menu.No shower facility in our particular room.
Nice place! The bloke that runs it is hilarious , bit like a character from a carry on film... Great breakfast too!
Warm Friendly welcome (lovely cup of tea in the lounge when we arrived) Fantastic breakfast, lovely comfy bed. Nick was wonderful a Host nothing was too much trouble .
The caring welcome, fabulous breakfast and comfortable, attentive stay. Nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing at all.
Hosts had good knowledge of area for guidance on where to vist etc.Superb Breakfasts .Felt at home . Easy access to Minehead and Dunster and Exmoor
Nothing to fault at all
The farmhouse had a lot of character and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Very helpful and attentive staff. The breakfasts were very good. As the name suggests it was located at the end of the town and only a few minutes walk from the local pub. A very good base for walkers and sightseers.
Very friendly hosts, excellent breakfast, best vegetarian omelett we ever had
The lovely large on suite bedroom with a really comfy bed ensured we both slept well. The really good quality breakfasts with locally supplied produce cooked by Melinda were excellent. The location which is a short distance from Dunston Village and Dunston Castle was just what we wanted to explore the surrounding countryside.Highly recommended.
Cant think of anything.
Nick and Miranda were very warm and friendly gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel relaxed, the food was exceptional and presentation was very good indeed, the bb was very clean and comfortable lovely lounge to relax in, location was quiet and relaxed not too far from seaside locations you do need your car. The dogs Jed and Rosie with their clever tricks. Fantastic reakfast and home from home comfort. Lovely surroundings. Host very very welcoming and lovely to spend time with. When down that way again would stay there.
Everything was 100% satisfactorily. You can't ask for a better stay.
There wasn't anything that we can complain about.
