I was graciously received by Lorraine and welcomed into her home. All of the amenities you could want were provided. Her breakfast was awesome! My room was clean and well appointed, and hers was the most comfortable bed I'd had in 2 weeks. My early arrival and late departure were nicely accommodated. The 10 to 15 minute walk to the City Center was very easy, and I enjoyed seeing the many surrounding Victorian-era homes.

Bob and Lorraine run a beautiful B&B. They make you feel warmly welcome from the word go. We were upgraded to their Trafford suite which was enormous for us. All the comforts and luxuries you could ask for. We just didn't want to leave the room.

The owner thought of everything. It's all the little details that count: sherry in the room, unique shampoo and conditioner, blow dryer and curling iron, excellent coffee, etc. The owner even found arrangements for us on our next next and delivered our luggage!

    We liked it all!

Terrific and very clean B&B. We stayed in the Trafford Suite room (all rooms are named, not numbered) and it was large and well decorated. Large bed, sofa, coffee table, other various tables. Men's and women's terry cloth dressing robes were furnished; very nice large bathroom with a shower and a separate bathtub with hand-held spray for rinsing off. Breakfast was in a delightful garden room and lots of delicious food cooks to order.

It was a bit of a hike to the city center but not more than we could walk a couple of times in a day.

    Breakfast. Comfort. Parking.

Power shower a bit noisy, seemed to be a problem with water pressure?

This "bed & breakfast" is a real gem...we'll stay there again when next in Inverness.

Hauling our heavy bags upstairs...but it was a minor inconvenience and certainly worth staying at this place.

Location to city/ restaurants was great- also Rob showed us that the canal was just one block away and it's a beautiful walk. Lorraine went out of her way to make us feel welcome- so much so we came back and stayed on our return to Inverness

    Nice bedding.

For a 5star we were not made to feel welcome and she looked at my daughter like I'd taken in a stray dog. Informing us that sum rooms don't allow children which was apparently stated on site but didn't see. Lovely decor in some areas, but felt too much like somebody proud of their home and not like a guest house. Was feared to make slightest sound and use toilet! If staying in the green room, don't look at the floral seat if u don't want to vomit. She even came to our table to move our teapot onto a naff doily whilst I was about to pour. Like I say, its far to over the top, and the way she is so proud of her home spoils the comfort.

The rooms were all individual and beautifully appointed. The breakfast was amazing and easily tailored to individuals requests! It was an easy walk into Inverness where several excellent restaurants were recommended to us- and even booked on our behalf. All in all it made it a special trip.

    Nothing!

A lovely and very comfortable bedroom and en-suite with lots of nice touches e.g. Toiletries including bath salts, information file on where to eat/ what to do and a DVD player in the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentyful. There was ample parking and even a guest living room. All of this and only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Inverness.

Do yourself a favour and book a room ! Our stay was absolutely fantastic. The building, the room, the decor, the breakfast... everything was perfect.

Our only disappointment was that we had only booked one night!
