No en suite. Sheets not fresh. Bed not made. Toilets not flushing properly. Smell of smoke in corridors. Noisy neighbours
Poor breakfast.Asked for a bedroom for 3, got a very small bedroom with 2 single beds and a very uncomfortable camp bed with no bedding. No ensuite facilities.Noisy as it accommodates DSS families.
clean rooms and cheap, friendly staff
bit cold in the room and not the best of areas
the rooms where clean tidy it was quite and i could relax without any noise 100 percent happy
Would not return again!
One member of staff was very rude. No wardrobe for clothes so they were on the floor.ok if your an early riser as woken up at 6'ocloak by the workmen.
No tv remote. When I booked online 2 rooms got to hotel and didnt have 2 single rooms
The price was the best on the area !
Very noise, share toilet with 8 bedrooms and noise coming from the sink pipe on the bedroom 6:00am !
the staff person karen, thank you karen.
iv been there 1 week time, and i do not saw in any day....the staff use the vaccum in my room....dont now why.....maybe they dont no how to use it......
The only thing i Say that it was bad experiense.
I specifically stated I wanted a room with wifi - it turned out they hadnt paid their bt broadband bill and so had no wifi in hotel! It was too late to find somewhere else. The area is predominantly an asian area with most of the women in that area wearing burkhas which I find intimidating
The staff were really helpful, the added extras, books to read for the children, pool table, were great for the family. It was excellent value for money, and within easy access to Manchester.
It stated the room would have a bunk bed and a double bed, but instead there were four single beds, which made the room a bit cramped.
We weren't able to check in during the day - got there after midnight and Alfy was very understanding so much appreciated.
The staff were so friendly and helpful, and couldn't have done more to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The hotel is decorated to a high standard and is spotlessly clean, even the shared bathrooms. Great value for money and lovely place.
Clean, basic value for money
Not all en suite rooms
Cheap, lovely staff, comfortable bed, free wifi and TV in every room.
On a very busy, noisy road.
The appearance of the room was nice. We were provided with tea and coffee facilities, a sink and a TV.
There was a mix up with our booking to begin with. Firstly they were not sure if we had booked with them at all and once we clarified that we had they said we hadn't paid. This meant we then had to show our bank statement on our phone to prove we had. That night the neighbour to our bedroom had their TV on very loudly until 2am. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every conversation, every noise that was made. We had enough and eventually banged on their wall and asked them to keep the noise down. It is a budget hotel and I wasn't expecting much when I booked it, but I did think I would be able to get some sleep at least, but no. There were also no curtains in the bedroom, just some flimsy blinds letting every cars headlights shine into the room up as they drove past. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, next time I think I'll pay a little bit more to enjoy a good nights sleep.
close to town and to the bus stop.
no breakfast or any kind of kitchen.
- Cheap accommodation - Has its own bar - Rooms were clean and tidy
- Area wasn't the nicest - Was quite a hot time of year so we slept with windows open and the noise from the streets was very loud - slept poorly
The one member of staff who looked after us was lovely, attentive and v good with our 6 yr old son. It was v clean and well maintained. If you want budget/basic this fits the bill. Couldn't fault the staff he was lovely!
Shared toilet had no soap or towels/dryer. Hubby's bed was extremely squeaky. Our room was at the front and we were woken by a v loud motorbike in middle of the night. Car park was full it only had approx 6 places. So we had to park on the street
Friendly and helpful staff.
Perhaps too hot, usually not a problem in Bolton
Friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable cost. Good location as I was going to The University of Bolton for a degree ceremony.
I booked a twin bedded room for myself and my daughter but got a room with a double bed and a very small camp bed. It was extremely noisy but not the fault of the hotel just the location. It was also extremely hot.
