Hendham House Hotel

The staff at Hendam House were lovely and incredibly helpful. Spacious rooms were very clean & although bathrooms were shared there were plenty & conveniently located.

Having to share a bathroom and Shower with other guests. Poor dining facilities and very poor hygiene in the bedroom , mattress was ripped and springs poking through and sticky surface on units as well as cigarette ash behind unit.

The staff wer all lovely!! Please dont be put off by other peoples reviews, the bathrooms and showers wer clean, the beds and rooms wer clean and it cost £10 by taxi to the city centre. I nearly cancelled my stay after readin other reviews, so glad I didnt! Had a brill time!

Uncomfortable mattress (which I sorted usin the extra duvets) oh and the building facing it was boarded up but I never saw anybody lurking around so it was grand really!

Friendly staff, not far from city center, bus stop and grocery possibilities near by, ideal for young people and city trips

Internet was very slow and apparently wasn't to cost anything (though 5 pounds for one stay isn't too much), shower very small

Domonic and his friendly team could not have done more for us. We got back to the hotel at 3am and slept untill nearly midday - Not a problem! Lifts to and from airports and the town centre available at a reasonable cost. Clean and spacious. Thanks!

Everything was great with the hotel, from the cleanliness to the staff, they were great! Took us wherever we wanted to go for just a small charge fee which was good, the staff were amazing; helped us with anything we needed from having an iron to being locked out, would totally reccomend the hotel! See you guys soon! The birmingham girls!!

It was just abit futher from the hotel then what we thought, but once you've been back & fourth a couple of times, it actually doesnt take that long.

Stained and simple room.Mould.Dirty sheets and pillowcases.Miserable toilet.

Was the worst place I had ever been. They try charge the Internet (in the ad was free) the bathroom was flood, the cleaner try open two times the room with me and my girlfriend inside even we talking that the room was busy.

staff were very friendley and helpful, were brilliant with young kids. rooms were spacious, clean and warm . beds were very comfy . breakfast facilities were great .

We had an awful experience upon our arrival, that was simply unacceptable. We booked 5 single rooms, but it turns out they don't have 5 single rooms. So, without telling us they had set up for us to stay in two rooms - a 2 bed and 3 bed. We had not been informed of this in advance, and were still required to pay for 5 single rooms. The staff member on at the time had no interest in working with us to compensate for us, until finally giving us breakfast as well. We did not get what we paid for, were not told of the situation in advance and were treated like it was unreasonable to expect what we had paid for. As a group of 5 colleagues staying for work, sharing rooms is not acceptable, and we will not only not be coming back, but recommend noone stay here.

Horrendous hell hole!!!! Adams family! This is not a hotel!!!!!! We left after 10 minutes! Uneasy feeling! No locks on toilets etc. never stay

No in in reception on arrival Lack of customer service of any description No toilet paper No access to a toilet for over half an hour No towels provided The vat receipt was printed from a printer with no ink in it and I am still waiting for a readable copy to be sent to me by email which has not been sent.

The room size, comfort and facilities were cheap but good quality and very clean

Extras were expensive. £5 a day for breakfast seems a lot for a bowl of weetabix and self service. Wi-Fi was not free. £5 for a weak and intermittent signal. Shower was low-flow and was either boiling hot or freezing cold. Had to bath every day, which took a good 20 minutes to fill.

It was spotlessly clean. Only less than ten minute taxi to city centre which only cost a fiver. Staff reallly friendly. Excellent value for money

Staff were really friendly. You have control of the heating in each room...nice and toasty. Own car park. Nice communal areas. (Dining room, lounge)

Communal shower but for the price, I definitely can't complain and in all fairness, it was always spotlessly clean and well equipped.

I booked what I was led to believe was a hotel but it was a hostel, shared bathrooms, full of crackheads. Room was dirty complete shithole and could not wait to leave very disappointed in the whole package. We needed paying to stay there just wish I could of gone to another hotel. Will think twice about booking again with you.

staff were great,room was spacious. more like a hostel than hotel which is not a problem for me as i spent a few years abroad in hostels

i would have liked a shower in my room

Staff were excellent. The cost was very good an I would highly recommend to stay here, as I will be doing myself. The bedrooms were clean and cosy.

It was a good location a simple hotel with simple amenities.

It has shared bathrooms which I wasn't keen on as the price was the same as premier inn and travelodge which has en suite bathrooms

Donemic was lovely, the room was very stylish and up to date! The rooms had a telly in on the own and sofas, we stayed in the deluxe rooms! My stay was very pleasurable and will defendantly be going back again! You also had to share a bathroom but the were very clean and didn't mind it as we were all on the same floor.

Had to pay more than website said. Couldn't pay on card. Staff couldn't find my reservation. Was further out than advertised
