I liked the location of the hotel. Bed was comfortable.

The room looked very dirty. I refused to walk on the carpet barefoot. No airdryer and the sink of the bathroom was so old it was cracked.

Extremely comfortable and huge beds. The quirkiness of the old building- old-fashioned but plenty of character.

staff were very helpful. Location suited very well. Bed very comfortable.

Inadequate clothing storage. Lighting at bedside was inadequate for comfortable reading in bed. Noisy at front at night. Floor could have done with hoovering.

The quality of the room was exceptional and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the staff could not have been nicer. The price of the room was also very good and as we were going to my aunt and uncles golden wedding at the City Hotel it was a perfect location for us, just a short walk at the end of the evening.

Not very much at all although I would have liked to have the option of buying a cooked breakfast as the only option available was a continential choice. The parking facilities were good but not belonging to the hotel although the staff did guide us to the nearest and cheapest parking facilities which was good especially as it was at the weekend.

    Location

Shabby room with bathroom smelling like a public toilet had to change rooms on arrival. Furniture and decor extremely dated. Room castly overpriced hostel image should be hostel price. Restauarnt and food felt like school canteen facilty.

Location was good. Receptionist helpful and friendly.

The reception area and our room reeked of cigarette smoke although supposed to be a non-smoking room. The carpet of our room had not been cleaned and when I mentioned how bad our room was she said that there had been a party in that room the night before. You would think that they would make sure it was extra clean in the circumstances but no. We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one. Not what we would expect of a Travelodge. Disgusting!

    Location. Staff helpful

Have to pay for parking. Rooms in need of reburishment. V. Old chipped furniture. Carpets need professional clean, new paint for walls. Simple diy jobs can make it more attractive.

Front Desk personnel were helpful, kind and fun. Although the hotel is older and more of a budget-style hotel, the location is terrific. It took us a little while to figure out what Derry was about. Once we understood some of the city/history, we were very pleased we had stayed at the TL Hotel.

Elevator was way too small, steps up made bringing luggage up arduous. The idea of getting sleep above a busy bar is kind of ridiculous. If we had young children, this hotel would not have worked. Because we have adult/teens, it was kind of fun and funny too. We took photos of the many kegs below our window in the morning! The hotel is pretty old and worn but the friendliness of the front desk makes up for it!

    Not very much.

When I booked in with my male friend the room was changed when the receptionist saw him, which I do not like. I booked for a double bed but the room had two single beds which could not be moved together. They did not make us feel welcome, I am glad it was for only one night. I will not stay there again.

Staff are excellent, we travel down to Derry for hospital app for my husband, he can't drive for up to 5 hrs after treatment so we always book the Travelodge because the staff allow us to check in early as we always check out at 4, they are so obliging.

staff were friendly and polite, and my particular room was quiet with no noise from the outside bars and clubs

I was charged £73 per night when my friend was only charge £33 per night, pretty disappointing for a budget hotel to have such differences in price when we only booked a couple of months apart but still four months before the actual arrival date would have been nice to have more facilities for breakfast
