pleasant stay in a comfortable room. The hotel was good value and located close to where we wanted to go. Friendly staff.
Not the best soundproofing as we were woken up by an alarm in another room that kept going.
Easy to get to. Good parking facilities. Room very comfortable. Staff friendly. Nice lounge area. Excellent breakfast.
Pets allowed and could be heard. Room very warm. Some Traffic noise if at front of hotel.
Excellent breakfast, nice friendly staff
Bed was very comfortable.
No evening meal and hardly any staff in the evening.
Close to Fareham centre but far enough away to be quiet. Also handy for Gosport, Portsmouth and Hedge End. The Solent is close by too. A friendly hotel with a pleasant garden.
A small hotel that is staring to look a little tired in places. Otherwise great.
convenient for Portsmouth, nice rooms
attitude of a member of staff on the second morning. Said they were short staffed so would have to wait for the juice to be refilled for breakfast. We had to take spare glasses, milk, and cutlery of other tables as she was too busy to get more we would have to wait. In fact we had to clear a table ourselves so that we could sit for breakfast. A shame as up to that point we were very happy with the service.
Nice breakfast, Comfy bed, Clean, Pleasant Staff
Glass conservatory -very stylish. lovely garden. all spotlessly clean
Windows didn't open.
Comfy beds, big bathroom, breakfast, garden, close to the station, helpful staff.
Window looking onto the dining room.
The location was excellent. The staff were polite and professional. The room was clean and comfortable.
Location Quiet Next to a pub for food Clean Good car park and free Nice grounds
Check in too early
The lady on reception on Friday and Saturday was extremely helpful both with directions and sorting us out a taxi
Very helpful staff. A clean and comfortable hotel in a very good location for access to Fareham town centre
My only dislike was the quilt on the bed was a little too warm for the time of year. Otherwise no negatives at all
Breakfast on the last day spoilt the rest of the break. There was no orange juice left so we asked several times for it to be refilled the answer given was we are short staffed you will get it when you get it! The tables hadn't been reset so no cutlery or milk for the tea so had to get things our self which were clean from uncleared tables. Juice arrived after 20 minutes but no glasses so we found some clean ones again off other uncleared tables.
The staff bent over backwards to allow us to check in extra early (at no extra cost) to allow us to attend a family wedding on time and giving us ample time to freshen up and change. Breakfast was delicious - served piping hot and my scrambled egg was cooked to perfection!
Our room was a bit too warm for our liking, but we were able to open the top windows.
Friendly staff, great cooked breakfast. Garden for our dog.
1. Our bedroom was at the front ,ground floor, a very hot night so with windows open, road was very noisy so didn't sleep well. 2. On arrival, no ice was available for a Pimms drink: would have had something else if I'd known ; ice machine broken. 3.Only one bath towel in the bathroom, had to ask for a second one.
No air con
Everything was fine staff very helpful and friendly have stayed many times before and will stay with again as a lovely place to stay
As this summer is a good one and hopefully we will get more summers like this it would be very helpful if a fan was available to use in bedrooms
Almost Everything. Great breakfast and friendly waitress
Reception staff are not friendly. Both of them
Good value for money.
Rather expensive breakfast that was not included in the room price.
Lady at front desk when we arrived very friendly & helpful. Rooms very comfortable & well appointed, very clean. We had the breakfast which was good in the lovely downstairs conservatory dining room. They very nicely let us take over the downstairs lounge to watch the All Blacks play. Great place to stay.
Terrific place, well turned out, clean, accommodating. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would come back.
Very helpful staff with a nice comfortable room/bed.
minor things such as the washbasin plug was not attached.
The location was perfect for us to visit family and jump on a train to Brighton for the day. Room was clean and comfortable with en-suite . The garden was pleasant.
It was a very hot few days when we stayed and the room was uncomfortably hot ,even with windows open. We asked for the use of a fan but there wasn't one available.
