I was heartened to read that you were 'gay friendly' and further heartened when we checked in and were not given a twin room as so often happens. Thank you We had travelled down from London en route to flying back from Dublin to South Africa - we arrived about 1.30 - had to wait a bit before we could check in - and that is the only thing as the rest of our brief stay was very good. |

The receptionist was pleasant, also the guy who took the water samples at the pool, Also an older gent who we didn't know what position he held but was also very pleasant. The food was good(Shame about the service). We booked into the Inn for evenig dinner and the staff were lousy, slow service, forgot the sause with the main course, took 20 mins before I had to go and remind they we had been waiting 20 mins for our deserts, we had mentioned this to a waitress 5 minutes before, and she virtually ignored us. At breakfast the tables were not cleared off and we were left to take a table for four, or sit right on the thoroughfair. The large lady let it be known another table would have to be set for four. would have normally answered the lady but didn't rise to the bait. Five minutes later she apologised to the table next too us for having sausage in her mouth whilst serving. And she was a senior member of staff,You defiitely need staff to be trained before |

I loved the swimming pool and walking around the bay. The older resturant staff were rude and unhelpful! We werent told that we had to book our evening meal on our second night and had to walk all the way across the bay to get some food as our resturant was full. |

Brilliant location. rooms with excellent views. Good facilities at hotel Breakfast didn't appear to be cooked to order. No marmalade available at breakfast. several guests asked- told order previous week hadn't been put in. Hotel staff could have bought large jar from supermarket if this was the case. |

Bedroom was an excellent size and comfortable. Reception staff pleasant and helpful. The decor of the bedroom was rather drab(caramel?) which, together with energy saving light bulbs made reading difficult. Tv reception was so poor it was not worth watching. Catering was poor, all day snacks were not available on Sunday despite their notice but were produced when I complained.Restaurant very ordinary and breakfast was awful on our first morning- solid fried eggs, bacon "parcels"which had gone hard and cold and no marmalade. Upon enquiry we were told "nobody ordered it". Second morning, a different chef and an improvment, however still no marmalade. I asked "why couldn`t a staff member go to the local shop and buy some", waitress replied "well I`m not going, I don`t have a car". I felt like going myself but refrained ! |

As we had our dog with us we stayed in the Tower House of the hotel. But room was of very good standard. Very spacious, comfortable and amazing views over the whole bay from both windows - comfy armchairs, comfy bed and very big bathroom. Everything was very clean!! Food in the bar area was basic and atmosphere there a little hectic with lots of children. Cocktail bar area was really lovely.. clamer atmosphere, cosy seating areas. Breakfast was really good. We made use of the pool which was lovely. Restaurant was fully booked and no option for guests to eat there - although there was the pub area to get food - we would have much preferred the restaurant as the menu looked great! |

The Location was really nice.Thats about it though. Far too over priced. Hotel was dated & the rooms quite small for the price. Poor service & hospitality except for the cocktail bar. Food took far to long to be served at dinner & breakfast. Tables were rarely cleared. Poor value on the overpriced meals. Not much to pick from the small menu. Not once during my stay was i asked by any member of staff if i was happy or pleased with everything or had any problems. Not even when checking out. Wouldnt recommend this hotel at all. |

We had a good sized sea view room, clean and very comfortable. The weather was glorious so made the stay perfect. The Brasserie menu was very good, service very good and we ate there on both days of our weekend break. Breakfast was also good - plenty of choice with attentive and very efficient staff. Really enjoyed it. |

Fantastic service from staff, lovely food in the restaurant, kids enjoyed the pool, rooms were spacious. Both nights we stayed we had awful sleep. First night's stay there was some party going on in the room above, very very very noisy, kept us and our baby awake. Second time we stayed, our room was right next to the fire door, which was incredibly squeaky and noisy every time it was opened and then loud when it banged shut - we ended up keeping it open with a chair so we could get some sleep. |

Location was perfect for the beach, the bar area and space outside was lovely and i particulaly liked having sea view from our room, although advirtised as preimer deluxe room it was in need of updating and we had problem with toilet flush that aside we had excellent value for money and staff were very friendly and helpfull |

The room was comfortable and well kept and had balcony with a seaview. Not the room if you cannot climb several stairs to get there. We had a lovely three nights stay but i wouldnt consider to pay the full price. Breakfast was first class, very filling and good choice once again it depends on what you are looking for. Found the staff very helpful and if you wanted to be left alone then you had your privacy. i thought the downside was very minor and it is up to you to make the holiday what you want |

Staff where friendly throughout our stay, very clean hotel, very big room, food was very nice in both the retaurant and the bar. Bit dated, and was not worth the original £350 for two night incl breakfast, thankfully only paid £105 and this was good value. |

We thought the hotel very comfortable and warm. It was in a lovely location and the food was very good. The staff were excellent and the hotel seemed very efficient. We didnt use the pool but this would have been great for families. At breakfast time there were not always enough tables which made it difficult for staff. |
