Location is brilliant and staff were very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was poor and table required wiping even though set up.
Location, food, comfort, staff
Staff friendliness was excellent. We were very comfortable during our curtailed stay during which my partner was due to complete the 140-mile trek from Chester to Holyhead on the Wales Coast Path to raise money for charity. My partner fell and broke her arm on the second of three days so our stay was curtailed. Management and staff showed concern.and consideration over the final bill.
The main dishes on our first dinner were both overcooked, thus spoiling very good ingredients offered on an interesting if short menu. The short wine list was unusual but adequate.
Overall a good experience in a wonderful location in a beautifully furnished hotel.
Quality if restaurant food was poor. On the last occasion we stayed the hotel was under private ownership and everything was 5 star. We just noticed a slight change for the poorer with the entire experience particularly good quality.
The room was particularly spacious & comfortable + the bathroom with a great separate shower. The staff had time for you.
Location and room very pleasing. Breakfast on Saturday was excellent. Food in bar good value.
Buffet breakfast on Sunday morning very disappointing after the excellent service on Saturday.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - the room we had for our first night was good but the bed was uncomfortable and creaky, so they let us upgrade to a fabulous big room for very little more.
The changing room faciltites at the swimming pool were very small, not particularly clean and hopeless with a toddler.
The staff were particularly helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
Hotel room was a bit too hot for me!
Best room we have ever stayed in with beautiful sea views..amazing value for money, The bed was an amazing Super King, very comfortable,We had a leisure area with settee and coffee table. Staff and food was excellent..amazing..
No bad experience..Only one thing can think of was the room was very hot.
Great food. Friendly staff, great pool and gorgeous place to unwind.
Room size & furnishings Lovely breakfast Pleasant staff Complimentary toiletries & bottled water was a nice touch
Comfortable hotel, warm and pleasant.
Rather bouncy restaurant floor!
Friendly staff, comfortable surroundings and super breakfast.
Every sound from the corridors can be clearly heard in the room, as can the squeaky floorboards in the adjacent room. Doesn't make for a very good night's sleep.
A lovely calm, relaxing, comfortable stay in a hotel which has retained its character but got a contemporary feel. The staff were attentive and caring, no panic even when the wind blew a power cable down overnight!! Candles in reception and tea and toast for breakfast, thanks to the back up generator...well done Treaddur Bay!!
We love the location of the hotel as it is right on the beach/sea
The bar menu needs some additions. Could be done as 'specials of the day'. This would give a wider variety.
We love this hotel our room was so spacious & comfortable ....
The food let this hotel down, it wasnt up to the same standard ....it was OK but not particularly special. Previosly ( on a seperate stay here ) we had so enjoyed our meal in the bar area there we ordered the same again but it wasnt the high quality we had expected, we were dissapointed & didnt eat there again.
Great location and a warm and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast offered, best I've encountered in many years of hotel visiting.
Winter break offer on display which was substantially cheaper than the deal we had off the internet.
The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is close to the beach which was good. Bath towels - a lot of them and good quality.
The room was one of those waiting to be refurbished so was in the older, more run down, part of the hotel. The room carpet and furnishings were worn and quite dirty. There was a hole in the floor which could be a risk for older people. The bathroom wasn't up top standard; tiles dirty although the bath etc were clean. Just needs a total refurbish. The room was cold as the heating went off early ( 6 ish) and it is January!!! I had to ask to have the heating back on. I was cold through the night even though I used the one blanket available in the wardrobe. Two tea bags only! I thought this a bit mean. The swimming pool was awful. Dirty surroundings and generally very run down. It reminded me of Eastern Europe 20 years ago. I couldn't recommend this hotel and wouldn't stay again.
Was next to the beach Staff were nice
They had a power cut so no hot water to shower or wash with, no hot breakfast and no anything else that needs electricty :(
The location was brilliant. the staff were friendly & helpful. Food Good The Hotel is in Good Condition & clean & comfortable & warm.
Had to go home
Lovely room and bathroom with superb shower.
Loveley room Good food Friendly staff
Lack of a lift as there are a lot of stairs.
location was perfect, room was well furnished and spotlessly clean.
Stayed 2-4 Jan, bit concerned there'd be a New Year Hangover, but nothing of the kind, really good room, great staff, great location and proper beer. Good bar food, didn't try the restaraunt but the menu looked good.
Wifi was a bit hit and miss in the room, other than that everything was good
