It was quiet, very comfortable and stylish. There was good attention to detail. The breakfast was simple but very good. The owners were welcoming, obliging and attentive

Loved the position. The owners were very friendly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts (continental) were home made and organic. A little bit of Italy in the cornish countryside. Very handy for visiting most of North Cornwalls seaside resorts. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back

It is a comfortable and traditional residence in an exceptionally quite location. Centrally located for North and South coast visits. Rooms are generous in size and with comfortble furnishings. Host and staff were very welcoming and the breakfasts divine with quality ingredients. Totally enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful evening meal on Saturday but wold have prefered it if evenings meals were to be offered more often, albeit there were fine dining available in local vilages.

The setting was beautiful, stunning grounds and a wonderful house, tastefully decorated. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was clean with furniture in keeping with the house. The breakfast was unusual, home-made muesli, fruit salad beautifully fresh and croissants, bread and a selection of cold meats. The whole place was very quiet even though there were other guests.

We stayed the second week in September and temperatures had dropped a bit at night. The room was rather chill in the night. There was no shower, just a spray over a very large bath. There were no evening meals offered during the week so we had to drive round looking for a pub or restaurant and the choice was disappointing. A cooked breakfast at the hotel cost extra which we had not been aware of when we booked.

Large spacious bedroom and bathroom. Beautiful house and property. Excellent breakfast.

Check in of 3.30pm was a bit late.

Very Friendly staff, excellent homemade morning goods for breakfast. Very peaceful location. A hotel with plenty of character.

We had an excellent time - hotel was excellent. Marco and staff made us feel most welcome.

Food in general was very good, rooms were nice and clean, great views. They cocked some special dinner for my little girl, which was very nice.

Food was not sufficient, people were almost fighting about it and we went hungry to bed.

Magnificent hotel, with very good and personal personal. Good breakfast. The owners put a lot of effort in every little details making the hotel a nice and warm house.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Attentive staff. Would recommend staying at this hotel if you like quality without fuss. Was like being a guest in a country house without being intruded upon. Fantastic!

It is a lovley place !! We had such a nice time there .the house has an amazing athmosphere and very kind staff!!

The hotel was very cold. Although we stayed in June, the weather was only 5'c at night and 12'c in the day. When we asked them to put the the heating on they said "It's summer - we don't put the heating on in the summer". I paid £382 for one room for 3 nights so I expected a better level of service than that.
