A typical breakfast buffet will display warm croissants, cereals, bread, butter and the best jams and marmalade, a divine freshly made fruit-salad, delicious yogurts, boiled eggs, gourmet Italian ham and cheese, juices and fresh milk. Breakfast is served from 08:30 to 09:30.
The bar is also open in the evenings.
Five other rooms are at the back, and we call them classic doubles due to their standard size.
One family suite occupies the right back wing of the house and overlooks an open courtyard with a view of the garden beyond.
All rooms are gracefully and individually decorated, with well-appointed bathrooms. We can accommodate one baby/child in our bigger rooms.
The Camel Trail (one of the most charming and varied bicycle and walking trails in the county) is literally on our doorstep. Bodmin Moor with its ancient, primitive landscape and wild horses is not far away.
The small town of Wadebridge is also close by, and is a buzzing place to stroll, shop and have a bite to eat. Some of the most majestic stately homes and gardens of Cornwall are also close by, like Lanhydrock House and Gardens, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We are also an excellent base for visiting the Eden Project.

The setting and house are exquisite. Marco was extremely attentive and gracious to us. The food was excellent, and the staff attentive. We wish Marco and Cristina continued good luck with this venture. They offer a truly unique experience. We hope to return in the future for a longer stay. |

The Staff had a very good welcome when we arrived and were very kind towards our kids. The hotel was set in a very quiet but very beautiful area, if you wanted somewhere relaxing and quiet this is the place for you. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Rooms could do with a little bit of modernisation but essentially they were very clean and tidy. The grounds of the hotel very nice but a little more attention to the finer points i.e. weeding would not go a miss. |

Great atmosphere, tranquil, rural setting. Fun and friendly Italian proprietor Marco. Great free breakfast with all organic. Great restaurant. Rooms small although bed comfortable and bathroom well appointed. Walls very thin and noise traveled through. Would benefit from wireless internet. |

Tredethy House is a quiet, pretty hotel in an attractive location. The rooms were attractively and appropriately decorated and the staff very attentive and helpful. We were not expecting to be able to take an evening meal here, and were delighted to discover that the owner cooked on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings. The food and accompanying wine were excellent - everything fresh and perfectly cooked to order. Breakfasts, too, were good - fresh fruit salad, good quality yogurts, fresh bread, proper coffee - all served in a beautiful sunny breakfact room with linentablecloths and napkins. Small touches in the rooms such as manicure and sewing kits were thoughtful Our room was not particularly big. We were fine as we were only satying for a few days, but I would ask for a bigger one if I were to be staying longer |

The house and grounds are beautiful. The host was charming but very laid back. Good towels were provided, but there was a shortage of soap.Delicious fresh breakfasts each morning. We liked Marco very mcuh and appreciate what he is trying to achieve in regard to organic [produce and fresh cooking. The standard room we were offered was uncomfortably small. There was no hot water the first evening. And the room was very cold. We asked for an upgrade the following morning. The charges for this were higher than experience suggests they should be, although the second room was delighful, but dusty. |
