Very friendly and helpful staff
Little disappointed that we had double bed when there was lots of space in the room for kingsize bed.
Convenient location to city, river and our son living locally.
Hotel in need of major refurbishment and modernisation. This is a "no frills" experience, except for free WIFI.
friendly staff nice breakfast good location if traveling by car
needs refurbishment overpriced
Staff members were friendly White Russian was lovely Clean Room was cleaned while we were away Lovely breakfast.
Our room was completely different from the one we booked in booking.com. It was much more poor (!) We booked a room with a bath and there was no bath(!) Room was prepared for 1 person(1 pillow; 1cup; 1 towel) not for 2. There was some kind of buzz sound all the time I could always feel vibration on the floor while standing. Bed was smaller than double and very uncomfortable. I had problems to fall asleep in it. There was not much choice on the breakfast menu and breakfast would be served 8:30-9:30 only
A little far from city centre, 20 minute (£8-9) to town centre. Clean rooms, good food.
Convenience. Value for money.
Decor is quite dated
Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, good location.
The poor condition of the room and especially the bathroom -- really run-down, neglected. There was no soap in the bathroom. One wondered how the place would do on a safety inspeaction.
Good Location, Excellent food, Friendly Staff, Good Facilities
Location , Building Style
En -suite facilities old fashioned and dull. Room not cleaned into the corners
Had a brief but very nice stay. Staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful, room was large and comfortable, and the food I had at the pub was wonderful! Let me keep my luggage there after check out until I was out from work free of charge, and I got a very reasonable price online. Highly recommend!
A caution for tourists that it's not very close to city centre and you might have to bus it, but served my purposes for going to work in Business Park very well.
The location was great and we would definitely return for another stay.
location staff peaceful gave me enormous double room despite booking and paying for single! Good food
Excellent hotel, very clean, good standard of furnishings and fittings Warm welcome and good service from staff Excellent breakfast Would stay here again and again
The Wifi. Linen was clean as were the towels.
The bed was really uncomfortable and the pillows were hopelessly thin. it was tired and scruffy. the bin hadn't been emptied. the duvet cover seemed to be reused as the bed had sheets as well. breakfast had to be pre-ordered.
Booked a single room, and got a beautiful suite, enjoyed the bath. Got to travel in low season. Enjoyed walking into oxford from the hotel, easy and beautiful
Friendly and helpful staff Great restaurant, dinner and breakfast
Bathroom in poor condition, basic shower
Evening meal were very good
Breakfast in morning. Egg not cooked, sausage disgusting and poor selection of fruit.
The place is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
The room is OK but the bathroom is primitive. The water from the shower is too slow and the basin is located in the room instead of in the bathroom. The telly wasnt working. The room wasn't warm enough.
The location is excellent
London prices for food and drink. Bedroom very cold as radiator did not work.
nice staff. Nice breakfast.
The bedroom was so cold it was unreal!
Breakfast was good.
Far away from city. Walk 10 mins to nearest bus station. Too dark after 16:00 to walk back.
Cheap accommodation Nice breakfast...just remember to complete the breakfast request slip! Breakfast staff were lovely and helpful.
Couldn't find the hotel entrance. Had to walk through to bar to get someone's attention to acquire my room. Room of poor standard. Bar Food was ok.
YOU NEED TO UPDATE INFO. CHECKOUT TIME IS 11 AM BREAKFAST FINISHES AT 8.30
Huge double room Comfortable Quiet village location but v near Oxford Attentive staff & great food
Bathroom could maybe do with updating a bit
The breakfast was amazing, with a good choice of foods and drinks on offer and available. The staff were really friendly and on hand to help whenever needed. The hotel was in a good location, not too far away from the city centre.
The bed sheet was stained and had to be changed. The rooms looked dated and are in need of redecorating. The curfew was 11 pm - bit tight when you're catching a show at the theatre.
