comfortable bed, nice fluffy towels. paying more than everyone else for a superior room, which on the internet boasted a balcony !.only to find there was no balcony. the food was bland, and breakfast was dreadful, dried out scrambled egg, served on a cold plate. we booked for two nights, and stayed one. Our ensuite did not have a door, and no evidence of a fan. The owners were most unhelpful, we would never stay there again. The other thing was that the shower came on twice in th night that was a bit spooky to say the least. Then the kettle switched itself on..

Great atmosphere, and lovely friendly staff. The rooms were wonderful. We were so taken with the hotel, we extended our stay - which the staff managed for us perfectly. The restaurant was excellent, and a nice place for an evening. The bar likewise, good ales and wine, and the atmosphere of a good pub (with a great terrace too, if the sun's shining) - perfect. The breakfasts were great too. Nothing. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I thought Trefloyne Manor offered everything that we expected from it. Fabulous setting and reasonably priced. Golf course has excellent potential. The beds were too soft.

Relaxing atmosphere, friendly helpful staff especially the restaurant staff who were attentive but not obtrusive. The food was delicious & the breakfasts a triumph to set you up for the day. Warm & cosy needed as the weather was not good. Our room called China was well appointed with that touch of luxury. Special touches were welcome too nice bath goodies, fluffy white towels etc., Would certainly stay again. Just one thing the cooking smells did drift up to the room as the kitchen is situated at the bottom of the staircase.

Hospitable staff, nice location and superior rooms especially the bathrooms. Directions on getting there - sign pposting needs to be clearer (arriving at night - signpost needs to show hotel more clearly, not just golf course)

Great welcome. Friendly helpful staff. Real ale in Bar. Good choice of food and drink. Good quality food. Nice countryside setting. Warm, clean and comfortable room. Free car parking. Whilst we stayed there was building work going on, which was a nuisance. Other than this, it was great.

The staff, without exception, were very welcoming and friendly. The food in the restaurant very good with excellent service. Our room (The Office) was pleasant and very clean. We enjoyed the Molton Brown toiletries in the huge bathroom with its roll top bath and excellent shower.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The lunch was a large meal and good value for money. The twin beds were comfortable but very small in width and length. Made it difficult for tall people.

The setting of Trefloyne manor was excellent. The staff were exceedingly helpful, and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Our room and en-suite bathroom were both large and very clean. The food in the restaurant was very good. A very enjoyable weekend.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. My sister and I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The decoration was great and has given me some ideas for my home. I especially liked the homemade biscuits in the room, delicious and just showed the care and attention the owners have paid to the hotel. Thank you to Trefloyne Manor for a lovely stay and a real treat. I loved my time at trefloyne and really have no faults to find. If they could make the lovely cooked breakfast calorie free then the place would be perfect!

Location, close to coastal path, nice views across golf course, relaxing to sit out on patio. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfasts. Room opened out onto kitchen extractor fan, hence constant cooking smells of chips, garlic etc. in bedroom. Room became hot and stuffy if window not open. Unexpected private party in marquee one night with loud rock music. However we were compensated for this when complained. Felt room was overpriced.

Trefloyne manor was a warm and welcoming hotel friendly staff very clean the food in the restaurant&bar was excellent. We had the room above the kitchen at the back of the hotel called the bedroom. First thing in the morning 6,15am the extractor fan for the cookers came on and it stayed on all day up until 11.30pm. Just thinking yes peace to go to sleep the coolers for the beer kicks in stays going all night only stopping for 2 minutes at a time it was like this for the whole of our 3 night stay. Although I didnt complain we should have done but being british we just put up with it. At £100 a night thought it was Expensive to have to put up with the noise. Would stay again but not that room,

Outstanding accomodation in `The Office`, and for golfers represents excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Service in the restaurant was a little slow. The food did not quite live up to expectations of excellence, but was perfectly OK.
