Score from 80 reviews Wonderful
Very friendly and welcoming.
If you are not used to driving through narrow steep roads you can find the access road very tricky and difficult. The shower room/toilet to one of the rooms is not attached to the room itself but is separate and accessed by a corridor.
The view, the assistance and the hosts
The parking facilities, the directions given,
The hosts were very helpful. The room was very clean, the breakfast excellent and the atmosphere homely. The wifi worked 100% in the room. All this enjoys a fabulous view to the mountains and across to Anglesey. I used the homestay to explore both Caernarfon and Mt. Snowdon, and was able to do so by public transport. On Sunday, when there is no public transport, the hosts took me to the station in Bangor. Fantastic service!
Good breakfast, WiFi was really good, owners are very helpful & go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable, quiet surroundings.
It would've been nice to know in advance that there are no public buses on Sunday since we didn't have a car, which they knew.
Nice room and facilities
Host in your face at every second. Cluttered kitchen where food was prepared. Host blew his nose and carried on preparing breakfast. Very remote location, tight roads and parking.
Well located for our needs. Friendly, good breakfast.
Warm friendly atmosphere.
En suite slightly small but not a problem for short stay.
Really nice and eager to help owners Family atmosphere Good breakfast Fast wifi Good location to for people who want to go in mountains in snowdonia
Lovely kind hosts. Very pleasant location and very good facilities. Clean and comfortable.
Having to go through communal kitchen to our private bathroom. Doors were difficult to close quietly. That said it wouldn't deter us from going back again.
The owners had the very best intentions at heart and the b and b served the purpose we needed of a weekend stay. However, the place is a bit dated and the breakfast quite basic. By all means I can understand that the owners need to make money and they were exceptionally friendly but if you are looking for luxury it is perhaps not for you. This place is perfect for a weekend stay out in Snowdonia and the location is beautiful and easy to access.
Hosts very helpful and friendly. Liked the small kitchen to make coffee etc. Wonderful views across countryside.
Comfy bed. clean bathroom /bedroom
That there was no tea or coffee or kettle in my room. That you ate breakfast in the kitchen with the man cooking. That he ate his cereal with me. That I had to ask for tea each morning. That I had to sit and watch him cook my breakfast. That he gave me two measly spoons of beans on two pieces of toast. That there was no butter just margarine. That I paid £1oo for two nights that should have been no more than £6o. Need I go on!!!!!
Breakfast was good and the friendliness of the owners was excellent.
The location, the steep stairs down to the bedrooms and the parking facilities were terrible. 3 cars only providing each one is parked properly. Lane to the property is very narrow and steep
the fact that there was a small sitting room and kitchen for our use and the friendliness of the owners.
The fact that we couldn`t stay longer
spare room for watchinf TV
host wasnt very prepared for cooking breakfast, talked too much, as a result we received our breakfast in stages, cup of tea, then egg (underdone),then toast (one slice and no plate). no offer of more tea. It was not comfortable eating where the breakfast was being served. The location is difficult to find and access.
