The room was spacious and pleasant. Lovely breakfast

Cobwebs in the bedroom and the bathroom. we did not say anything as did not want to cause a fuss....The cleaner was not always very friendly.

No staff to greet upon arrival just a note with telephone number; no staff on duty honesty bar: very little stock; very dirty stair carpet very poor; breakfast was very low budget very poor food mushroom leaking black fluid; no butter cheep spread; poor value for money.

Convenient for visiting Padstow. Tregea need a bit more attention to detail and cleaning.

It was comfortable and the staff were great.

The location to town was great and the bonus of parking. It is an old building so very quirky but we do like that.

The staff weren't there very often so if you needed anything you had to phone them. The first thing we noticed was it was dirty and tired. The shower had black mould around the tiles. The shower hose was broken and we were only left 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo and 1 glass on the first night for 2 of us. We never got anymore toiletries all week and although I asked for another glass we never got it. The mattress had springs that were really uncomfortable and the pillows were like bricks. We stayed 5 nights and the room was never vacuumed or sheets changed. To use the kettle you had to go on a hunt for a socket, which we found under the desk but the cable was to short to reach so you had to put the kettle on the floor to boil after crawling under to plug it in. I could go on about the layer of dust every where but that would take forever so I will leave that one. The chairs in the dinning room were dirty and worn out, the tables wobbled and on 2 separate mornings we had an upside down cup stuck to the saucer where the last person had used sugar and it wasn't washed out properly yuk. It is such a shame that the owner has let this Hotel become run down. We won't be returning to that place again. Very over priced for what you got. We love Padstow though and will be visiting again as soon as we can.

The beds were two singles pushed together, the cushions were dirty, ivy growing in the inside bathroom, cracked floor tiles in bathroom, floorboards loose, stained carpets, stained chairs in dining room and very much over priced.

Welcome was very pleasant and welcoming.

Hotel trying to give off impression of shabby chic however shabby is best described, tired not very clean far far too hot it makes it so uncomfortable, all the rooms need a shower not just a bath with a bath shower mixer that did not work so cannot rinse hair after shampoo. Staff very friendly but stood and spoke to me the whole time I was trying to eat breakfast which in my opinion is too much in your face. Pillows are dated and old and so flat not real point in having them, the bed broken on the headboard and the carpet in the whole of the hotel is disgusting dirty and very uninviting, would never recommend this place to anybody, grossly over priced for the quality!

Nothing was too much trouble, tea was offered at every opportunity and the property was warm and welcoming.

the hotel wascomfortable, location superb, the ladies who provided in all matters very efficient and friendly. Ours was a golden wedding break and having been to Cornwall almost every year for the past fifty four our stay in Padstow ( our first ) was an enjoyable and nostalgic experience.

more B&B than hotel. Overpriced and lacking facilities for hotel in that price range. Cheap furniture painted over in new England style. Filthy carpets. Curtains hanging off rails. Bath plug missing. Table leg fell off. Smallest tv available.. No hand towels or towel rails.

Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the location was okey.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They were flexible in meeting our needs and helpful in offering advice.

We had a lovely week, accommodatin great and breakfast was lovely. Owner Nick was very friendly.

The location was perfect, right in town - but not so that you could hear the music/noise from town. The harbour is lovely day & night. The breakfast and morning staff were lovely :-) Owner seemed nice enough.

We arrived at the hotel to find no receptionist & no one about! After a few minutes we realised we had to call a number & then the owner arrived. This was how they ran things, no one was about all day or night, apart from the morning when the cook and waitress was around. For £390 for 3 nights the room could have done with some repairs: Light shade in the bathroom cracked Floor tiles in bathroom - many cracked Bed - headboard needs re stapling! Would have been nice to have a cupboard/shelves in bathroom from tolietries.
