Excellent location of St Ives, beautiful gardens, friendly and helpful staff both at the main reception and in the restaurant, clean, cosy and warm bedroom, great English breakfast served. We could hear lots of noise coming from the corridor. The toilet in our room did not flush well. One more chair in the room would be great. |

A very beautiful grand hotel on the hill with perfect view and natural surroundings, and a long history of real castle. The room was clean and decorated in good sense. Staffs were kind and friendly. Delicious dishes, especially mussels from Falmouth sea. We would like to be repeaters and would recommend to friends. We can't think of anything bad. |

My girlfriend and I have stayed at Tregenna several times and always enjoy the service, food, spa facilities, sea view and large comfortable rooms. We have been together for fourteen years and chose this venue for some of our anniversaries - there is even talk of us getting married there. We were upgraded to a sea view room on arrival as it was a quiet time. I would like a deeper and longer indoor pool but it is adequate. |

The grounds I am afraid I found the corridors and rooms unnecessarily noisey. The combination of lose floor boards, badly adjusted fire doors and banging doors was not enjoyable. You have the basis of a fantastic hotel but let yourselves down by lack of attention to the customer experience. |

The hotel is very old fashioned the decor is very early 90's ... to say on their website that the rooms had been "updated" is ridiculous the place definately needs a complete decor overhaul... However the location was fantastic with beautiful view over st ives and within walking distanct (in good weather) to the centre. The staff were also very friendly and once we raised our complaints over the state of our outdated room which was not advertised on your site the general manager was fantastic and immediately gave us three more keys for us to look at different rooms and pick one to our liking..we did find one which was standard in the end nothing amazing. And also if this was in high season im not sure whether he would have been so willing. The decor! Terrible and nothing like the picture advertised on your website... Its so old fashioned and really does let the hotel down as it could be fantastic with a major overhaul .. the location was perfect such a shame the actual interior was terrible! |

Excellent staff, lovely grounds, overall a very pleasant stay. Couldn't have felt more welcome if I had stayed with my own family. Highly recommended. |

The staff were friendly and helpful and the setting was absolutely superb. The facilities were good, especially the pool, and the food in the brasserie was delicious. We had a great time and have been recommending it to family. Could do with a little bit of redecoration in some areas. |

Have stayed at tregenna numerous times, find it very relaxing, do not ever want to leave. Breakfast is always very good, plenty of choice, this stay there was black pudding one morning, the next morning haddock, very nice. Rooms do vary but usually quite good. Decor and heating can be an issue. only leaving! |

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff, fantastic location, amazing breakfast and good all round facilities. Whilst the bedrooms were spotlessly clean the one we stayed in (79) is in need of some tlc - especially the en-suite. |

The whole experience from checking in to departure was first class not least because I was able to upgrade my initial room choice for little extra cost. |

The castle was amazing, a great way to have spent a relaxing couple of days away. The hotel was set in fantastic grounds with awesome gardens which were obviously very well looked after and the walk into town through the tropical gardens was lovely. overall a very enjoyable experience which I would recommend to anyone The bad attitude of the chamber maids servicing the rooms which was reported at the time |
