I had to take my son to an interview at Falmouth university which resulted in staying overnight.at The Tregenna Guest House. Which we found to be a lovely family owned place to stay Parking was a bit tight, but you could easily park over the road

We appreciated the welcome from Steve and family. Were given a choice of a ground-floor room, which was much appreciated by an elderly couple - no stairs! Conveniently placed for the town of Falmouth and visiting family. A pity car parking was so limited at the guest house.

Our host was very friendly and welcoming and the guest house was value for money. My wife and I thought the room was a bit small and the shower was so small we had to step straight onto the carpet, the shower did not produce hot water; I am sure that this would not be a problem in the summer months. The twin beds were comfortable but the pillows were hard. Breakfast was ok and our host was very obliging. Shower cubicle too small and the water was not hot enough.

I booked this bed and breakfast for my 18 year old daughter, traveling alone. She told me to give it a great review. It was only a 3 minute walk from the town train station. The owners were very welcoming, and took the time to explain how to get around town. The bed was comfortable. The room was quiet. The breakfast was great. The location was convient, and there was a view of the harbor. She had a room with a private bathroom located accross the hall, but didn't seem to mind. She enjoyed her stay.

Friendly service, good location The room I stayed in did not have en suite facilities, I had to go to toilet or shower in a room across hallway, this was inconvenient especially early morning or late night.

Quite a lot of nice touches, including being shown to one's room, boxes of courtesy tissues, windows that open properly, pots of ground coffee on the breakfast table, and a smoking veranda. If, like me, you arrive early (5pm!!) then you might well be able to park right outside the front door. I was there to see Hawkwind perform in the Princess Pavilion, and this guest house is around 30 seconds walk down the road. It made a nice change from some of the city centre "dives" I've stayed in before. Not being able to check in til 5pm was a bit of a pain, but worse things happen at sea, eh.
