Clean Good location
staff very nice great location
out of date toilet very hard to flush
Evening meal was very good value for money
Not enough tv channels
very friendly hotel staff, quiet neighbourhood, clean linen, tea making equipment
had difficulty to sleep (snoring noice transpired through the thin walls; felt the metal of the spring mattress); the bathroom needs looking after
varied and comprehensive menu, generous portions, cooked on site by a professional chef On-site parking large comfortable bed room
lack of a comfy chair lounge without a TV
Staff were polite. Breakfast was reasonably priced.
Decore needs updating throughout. New mattress required. We were booked in for breakfast (for 3 people) and 3 of the 4 days we were seated at tables made up for 2 so had to get an extra chair ourselves. Kept being woken up in middle of night/early morning when other guests were on way in/out as our room was adjoining the car park. 2 of the 4 nights we had to park the car on the road as there was not enough space on the car park.
Me and my partner have stayed at this hotel before and we loved it, this visit around we were in a different room but everything was still perfect and its a lovely place that we will definitely be coming to.
Overall we loved everything about this place, but the only thing we didnt really like which cannnot be helped was that in our room there was a spider on the ceiling and quite a few spider eggs aswell, but these things happen and my partner easily got rid of it.
It was my wife birthday and they put them self out to make our stay very welcome. The bedroom we had it had a four poster bed in it at no extra cost. The food and hospitality was excellent. Will definitely stay there again.
My room was clean, comfortable and pleasant, The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Parking on site extremely useful. The one evening meal we had was excellent. Directions to the hotel were clear and accurate . .
I couldn't access Wifi with my iPad which was a minor irritation( and a feature of the iPad I think).
Clean and tidy. Helpful and friendly staff
Very friendly, helpful staff. Took the time to ask me of my needs during my stay and then not only met those needs ,but far exceeded them.
I went to Wales for three nights and visiting my family. I love travelling by trains. Also in the future I will go again.
Location only - but would go to the travelodge next time...
Staff very poor, no one to let us in at night, room was very unclean, breakfast was very off putting.
Basic, in a quiet spot and good value for money. Breakfast is additional, also good value for money. City centre is near by.
Nice people /clean rooms/good food
Nothing really wrong .
We had a lovely time at the hotel. Staff were very nice and gave a warm welcome on arrival. If in the area again will use hotel again.
Good value accommodation where all requirements are met
The town is disappointing
Staff member handled everything from checking in/out showing room, ordering food etc - he was very efficient
One man band seemed to do everything
The home itself was n ice.
There was a problem with the Booking.com in that I was unable to enter the amount of people, and I wrote this in the 'request' section that there were 5 of us. As I was unable to change the above there was a change of price which was not really in our budget - I would have booked somewhere else had I known. The handle in room 6 was broken off. There was a lot of noise at night - although we only spent one night. The person serving breakfast mixed up our breakfasts and he had to return to the kitchen twice. I will not recommend it to anyone nor will I book there again.
The price, the location
Being kept awake until after 1am by the bar room TV on at 100% volume. Eventually I went down and found the bar empty so I turned the TV down myself. Then we were woke again at 5.30am by loud chanting/singing coming from downstairs I think. Probably got about 4 hours sleep total. The room was not very clean - the windows looked like they'd never been cleaned. Also, we were asked to pay up front on arrival (Alarm bells began to ring), which I refused to do. Staff weren't great. Yeah seriously, just don't stay here.
Friendly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble. Fresh milk offered for tea making, returning after a day out one of the days, even though UHT milk available to use in room.
Not having a call bell to ring on reception and trying to locate staff from bar/kitchen door areas.
