Breakfast was wonderful as was the restaurant at night. It was a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. It is a bit out of the way so if you don't want to eat at the restaurant you need to drive. |

We were very happy with this hotel and were very comfortable there. The food was tip-top and the hotel itself is very conveniently situated for both Cornish coasts. We shall return in the future. |

Being able to access emails from the hotel computer Would have been a nice gesture to replace empty bathroom toiletries for guest staying for a few nights |

Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Hotel was very accomodating when we had to leave early and laid out an early breakfast which was much appreciated.. Room/bed in the cottage room (Foley) was quite small however this was reflected in the lower price. Shower had very little oomph. |

Food was excellent. Large choice of menu for breakfast (the full breakfast was sufficient to last you all day) Dinners were superb with a reasonable choice of wines. |

Staff were helpful and friendly. There was a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Food was excellent. The room was on the small side and there was traffic noise from being next to a main road. |

It is a cosy and calm place to stay. The food is excellent. The employess are very gentle. I didn't like the fact that they charged us for our two kids, in spite of the message in the booking.com site saying that they would provide extra beds for small kids with no additional charge for the room we took. That was unexpected, and there were no negotiations about that. |

Nice old building, particularly liked the lounge area and the evening meal was excellent Breakfast wasn´t great, I had 2 poached eggs and the yolks had pretty much disappeared and the whites were runny and not properly cooked. Suggest the hotel gets poached egg pans. |
