Trelawney Hotel - Guest House  

The staff were friendly and greeted us like old friends.

Having to leave at 10am. Lots of stairs a problem for my Nan that was travelling with us.

A very good hotel. A stone's throw from the harbour. Pleasant interior. The owners are really nice. Breakfast was delicious. I really recommend it!

The Staff could not do enough for you. The owner and his wife,Jim and Rose were thye perfect host. This is the second time we have stayed at the Trelawney and we find it the idea hotel in Torquay.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful, and nothing seemed too much trouble. Travelling with 2 young children can be stressful, but they made sure we had everything we needed, and put us in a room where other guests wouldn't disturb us.

Owners are really great people, very helpful and attentive. They were particularly patient with my rather energetic children. The family room is large and comfortable but be prepared for a climb as it's right at the top of the building! Place is clean and well presented. Breakfast great!

Lovely welcome from Jim and Rosie, who were great hosts for the short time we were there. We had to leave early in the morning, and they went out of their way to make sure we were sent off with a good breakfast, which meant an early start for them as well. Thank you both.

There was 10 of us staying there for New Year. We booked out the whole place. Rose and Jim were fantastic at looking after us and made us feel right at home. We had 24 hour access to the lounge / bar area so could all be together in there as opposed to seperately in our rooms.

There was nothing I did not like about the Hotel

The location was faboulous the guest house its self was homely and welcomeing once entering our room it was contempory well decorated and clean a folder was suplied with all the local info days out etc... The breakfast was top notch and so far one of my top guesthouses ive stayed in so far, The friendliness and welcoming manner jim greeted us with was much noticed sadly didn't meet the wife due to sickness but will most defiantly be staying again :-) Thank you for a great stay at ur guest house Belinda and Glen

Fantastic location and price. The room was very clean, and sufficiently spacious. Modern LCD TV, tea and coffee and shampoos etc in bathroom. Decent bar area and fantastic breakfast. Owners were very friendly and helpful with local information. Car parking available which is an added bonus.

Guest room over looking main road was extremely noisy all through the night.

A very friendly family run hotel, rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was first class with a good selection to suit all.Jim and Rosie were perfect hosts nothing was to much trouble always willing to help and give advice about the local area. The hotel from the outside looked welcoming the small garden was well tended for and gave a feeling that the owners cared about their business. We were not disappointed.

Both Rosie and Jim were very friendly and the staff aswell. Very easy going and lovely breakfasts, although a short stay would recommend to anyone for an easy no hassle environment, very pleased.Thankyou to all at Trelawney.

Fantastic hotel and Rosie + Jim so hospitable. Room was modern and very clean. The breakfast was great. Absolutely no negatives and would highly recommend whether you are travelling alone, as a couple or with children. Short walk to the beach and shops/harbour. Perfect stay thank you.

friendly hosts and comfortable room with en-suite facilities. close to the centre of torquay, the sea front was in easy walking distance.

although comfortable our room was rather small and also it would have been better if an evening meal was offered. there were also lots of stairs to get to the rooms, making it difficult to get heavy cases up to your room as there was no lift.

Myself and my wife found the owners most welcoming, nothing was to much trouble for them. The breakfast was cooked to perfection and was very plentyful.We would strongly recommend Trelawney Hotel.
