Everyone was really friendly, the food (Breakfast) was very good and well presented. The hotel is being redecorated and we stayed in one of the completed rooms and were very satisfied. We would reccomend this hotel without reservation |

The hotel was very well run and me and my wife enjoyed our stay in Torquay. The only fault with the Hotel was the lack of a Bath's in the rooms. |

i thought the hotel was nice and clean but there it was old fashioned and not very modern at all. Also you have to be an early bird to be up and ready for breakfast as you are only given 45 mins. needless to say myslef and my partner missed breakfast twice as we were 10-15 mins late. |

The staff were hospitable..the location was good, near the beach The shower pressure is too slow and also its very small and crammed shower, you can barely move and the water kept getting cold and it took ages having a shower.. This is the only disadvantage about the hotel.. |

The owners were most welcoming and very helpful told us a lot about the surrounding area the hotel was comfortable and clean but owners told us there was more they had to do to the property !!! The only thing was the parking it was a nightmare although the owner did his best to get everyone a space |

Great location, about 5 mins walk to beach and 10mins to harbour. Jim and Rosie who own it do a great job and make you feel welcome, also Thomas who helped serve breakfast which was very good, room was a bit dated but had everything you needed, but Jim is refurbishing the rooms so if you book ask for a refurbished room. A couple we spoke to had one of the updated rooms and said it was lovely. We would defiently stay here again and recommend it. |

Breakfasts was lovely Didn't expect to climb 54 stairs to get to the room - and room was not like on the website - just basic - which spoilt it a little. |

the hotel is in a very central position, close to amenities, being on top floor having to climb over 80 steps every time. and no lift. |

This well-run small hotel rests in one of the best positions in Torquay, opposite the lovely Torwood gardens. The beauty of Devon and Dartmoor is just a short drive away. |
Ideally situated for a relaxing break in Torquay, this family-run hotel is nestled on top of a hill, on a tranquil, tree-lined street, providing stunning views over the Bay. |
