Location and rooms were OK
Not enough elec sockets in rooms, on arrival it was pouring down and front desk was on the phone and we were intentionally ignored until the call was finished. Not a great welcome.
Good size room away from club house. Nice club and food top quality.
Room, staff & food
No control for bathroom radiator
Great location to explore Cornwall. Food was worth the money.
Everything was fine
Room could do with an update

Luxury Bedroom Complimentary Biscuits Excellent Dinner Efficient and Friendly Staff
Full Car Park as it was a Corporate day for Golf
The rooms we had were in bungalows away from the main club house. Very clean, large! My single room had 3 beds, en suite and a separate area for washing. Very impressed. Food was very well priced and good quality.
Spacious acoomodation and seperate from the main hotel. Receptionist very helpful and full of great advice regarding our travels further into Cornwall.
Lots of spiders/ daddy long legs, but just the nature of the area & time of year!! Next to a noisy road & walls are thin you could hear other guests in their rooms.
The Restaurant and food was excellent
I did not like the fact that although advertised as a Hotel, it was not a Hotel, but a Golf club with Apartments that were not attached to the club building, but set down near the entrance to the golf club. I was very dissapointed indeed
Wonderful friendly and helpful staff Lovely location when away from main road Excellent power shower Lovely cooked breakfast, but need veggie option
Room not cleaned properly, cobwebs and dust in corners Steam from shower likely to set off smoke alarm Furniture a little cheap-looking and old. Bedside locker top fell off and one side of the bed had a big dip in the mattress (my side was actually ok) Too close to main road (our room) so traffic noise was an issue as the aircon wasn't working so we had to have the windows open Thin walls and floors, so noisy when other guests came in
Everything!!! Great pint of cold Guinness, fantastic quality food (especially the breakfast) served by courteous friendly staff. I say spoiled in my review title because for a late booking costing just £57 .... I was given a family room, with double beds, free wi-fi etc. I will definitely be staying here again when down on business in the area!!
Leaving the place!!!
Big corner bath
Value for money
golf shop in reception
size of bed breafast staff
there was a lot of creaking from the floorboards in the room above inconsiderate people up and down the stairs and why won't people close doors properly
room was clean
put in a room next to all male party revelers till 4 in the morning, unwelcome at restaurant very ignorant staff 1 and a half hour wait for food which was only satisfactory.
Comfortable and spacious chalet accommodation. Good evening meal and breakfast
Nothing - all great!
We only stayed for one night as a half way house on our trip to Cornwall. The staff were all extremely helpful an friendly and couldn't have asked for better service. The food we had in the evening and the breakfasts were absolutely brilliant. Very tastey and very good value for money. We also enjoyed the use of the amusements at the farm next to the golf club as this provided us with lots to do as we arrived quite early in the day. Overall, nice place, nice people and would return.
Only one negative and that's the fact that the main door into our room facilities slammed shut and several people (not staff) kept letting it slam all through the night, would be great to get that fixed.
The second room we stayed in was much better than the first - No 20 I think. More room and less heat therein
Cobwebs in the shower area stayed there for several days ie nothing was done by the cleaners. We didn't like the room in the house near the entrance ie too hot and too noisy.
The staff were very solicitous and did their best to make us happy. As we were visiting all parts of Cornwall it was quite central. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.
The staff was really nice and helped out a lot. The room was nice and food was good we had lunch, dinner and breakfast. The golf course was a challenge but nice to play. Overall impression was good quality and good value for money.
Nearby traffic during day but at night quiet.
Very good standard of room: excellent breakfasts. staff exceptionally helpful.
Visit marred by behaviour of other guests. Not the hotel's fault.
The manager was superb even though we had issues with our room.staff good food excellent. We would return
Noisy by the road.room small , no head boards on the bed.
