Within budget, room was very pleasant with attention to detail, even a bath rope was supplied! Breakfast was superb and available within 5 minutes. I would highly recommend Trevali to anyone wanting to stay in the area, and this offers excellent value and luxury for the money!! Mr Chris Billing

Couldn't have chosen a more friendly place to stay. Also close to shops etc.

Our first time staying at the Trevali. Location is very convenient for the beach and the town, which is nice if you wish to walk along the seafront or just pop into the town for some shopping. Breakfast ranges from Toast/Marmalade/Jam to a full English breakfast and there is a very good choice of cereals. Our rooms were both clean and very comfortable, with coffee/tea making facilities, and several are en-suite - plus an unusual bonus in that dressing gowns are provided! Finally, Our hosts Trevor and Alison were an absolute delight to deal with, being as friendly, helpful and accommodating as you will find anywhere. We would definitely recommend a stay and will certainly return next time we are in the area.

Sloped floors and ceilings- I almost fell out of bed as it was so wonky No shower just a bath lots of stairs

Trevali Guest House is a typical British B&B. The accommodation is what you would expect from a B&B but it was scrupulously clean, the bathroom was nice, and I felt comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere on the premises is relaxed. Breakfast is really good as well. Parking is easy and you are located in the centre of town near the seafront, so it ticks all the boxes.

we are only 5ft 8ish tall and the head room in room 8 was only just enough,any one any taller would have problems.

It was warm and welcoming and felt like a home from home.

The shower wasn't very good but this was very minor.

Very hospitable couldn't make breakfast because I was up early so they made a pack lunch up so excellent service

Warm homely comfatable and friendly

Owners and staff were all friendly, helpful and welcoming, the bedrooms were clean and well-equipped with TV, tea and coffee and tea making facilities. The beds were all very comfortable. We also enjoyed a well-cooked breakfast.

We thought the bathroom and shower facilities rather let down this guest house. On the top floor there was just a plastic shower attachment for the bath (and incidentally, no handle grips on the bath, awkward for an elderly person) . The ceilings on the top floor slope very sharply and though the rooms themselves are attractively fitted out, space is a little cramped.

My stay was excellent.The room was very comfortable as was the bed. I appreciated all the extra thoughtful touches like an alarm clock,bottled water,toiletries etc.There was an excellent choice for breakfast with a tasty range to choose from if, like me , you prefer not to have a cooked breakfast.The proprieter was welcoming and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.
