It was in the perfect location. The rooms are basic but very clean and adequate. All in all a very pleasant stay
The only thing that was disappointing was the wifi it didn't work very well
Sink was blocking tap was loose toilet was loose shower wasnt working, that didnt matter too much, we only stayed over night. very noisy people up stairs kept banging doors. every thing was miss matched,or damaged, the reception was tatty and for that we payed £110.00 no food with that, out side said £15.00 each adult and half price for children, apparently thats only week days rates, we paid week end rates, we where ripped off.
Location close to promenade and tower
We arrived at trevaslodge and were greeted by the owner who seemed nice enough then were given the keys and pointed towards the room then left to our own devices on entering the room everything looked ok dated but ok then on closer inspection the bed wasn't a bed it was a wooden frame badly secured to the wall there were holes in the walls brick dust on top of the light switch someone's hair bobbles down the back of the bed and the shower was held together by insulation tape all in all not well maintained and not good value for money
The staff couldn't do enough, they were very helpful and friendly. The beds were so comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!
Location was brilliant
The sink didn't empty very quickly
Clean and private, good facilities, close to seafront, shops etc.
Smell from bathrooms in 2 of the 3 rooms we hired. No hot water in family room. Quite noisy on front of building so windows need to be shut.
Location was superb, close to Blackpool Tower and Sea Front. This was the ONLY good point.
The heating was permanently on even though it was extremely mild, the fire doors were serious hazards to your hands or fingers especially children.....Beware. The shower has a mind of its own, the master bed tilted to one side, the complimentary milk was sour, the decor was pre-war (Battle of Bosworth). Would be a great homeless refuge but for a B&B (that doesn't offer breakfast by the way) it rates as a very sad 1 out of 10. Such a shame considering their great location. If you have a choice between a park bench and this B&B trust me take the park bench.
Non smoking room....constant smell of cigarettes. Charged £110 yet they said if we booked with them it would have been £45. Who has had extra Given towels all frayed at Edge wall paper hanging off wall place was awful. Shame on you.....won't use you again
- Really good location - Helpful staff - Mini kitchen in the room i.e microwave
Bit poky - room for three
Room tiny very high up no change of towels or bedding
Location Friendly staff Wi-fi
No toilet sink (only kitchen sink) 1 towel for 3 people Disorganised check in
Was a fabulous location, right next to tower. Couldnt pick fault with room, had everythin it needed for a one night stay
does what it says on the tin....
Location was good. Cheap accommodation which was ok for a one night stay.
Although location was good. Party goers were noisy throughout the night. To be expected though, it is Blackpool after all!
the place the room the clenliness it was the worst place i hav ever stayed in
We just wanted somewhere to be based and to sleep, with a child who is a fussy eater we didn't want a b&b. It has a fridge a tea/coffee facilities. We were expecting a microwave but there wasn't one but for us it didn't matter as we ate out and we were only there one night.
No bin for any rubbish.
Room next to a shared toilet very noisy rooms really small and cramped noisy fridge no remote so couldnt use tele, needs an update as very old fashioned doors really heavy kids could trap fingers
sleeping arrangements for a family. beds were very comfy. the apartment in general. fridge and kettle.
my only disappointment was that i feel we were slightly over charged as sign outside says children half price but yet i feel we paid for 7 adults and not 2 adults and 5 children. hairs in bottom of shower tray from previous occupants. loose sink tap and sink didn`t drain away.
Close to Centre
No soap or toiletries Feels like a cheap guest house cleaned once every 6 months Not very hygenic Reception was never open once and we were there 2 nights I asked for 2 rooms with en-suite. Only one room had en-suite
I liked the fact that we had a men suite bathroom. The location was excellent less than 5 minutes walk from the sea front.
It was clean and tidy but could do with refurbishing.
Very central to town.
Wi-fi didn't work tv only had 3 channels. Couldn't have a shower in en-suit bathroom as their was only a small dribble of water came out of the shower had to take baby onto top floor to wash her in communal bathroom. Room wasn't big enough to put travel cot up. Had to park car over a mile away as their was no parking anywhere near lodge. Couldn't use plugs as they were three quarters of the way up the wall. Fridge wasn't working it was war even on number 5.
very clean and fresh room, friendly helpful owner, who let us leave our bags, until we could be picked up, near everything, liked it so much going back again, wouldn't book anywhere else
I was pleasantly surprised to find a fridge and microwave in the room.
Room had a fridge freezer and a kettle
I booked a triple room with 3 beds as I have an 11 year old daughter and 9 year old son I was put in a double room with one bed and a broken bed settee where I was told I couldn't put out the mattress underneath as it was broke. I stated I what I booked and was told just cause that's what the Internet said doesn't mean you will get it as all the rooms are different. Only 2 duvets and when I asked for a 3rd due to having 2 children I was told you have a double bed put a child in there. I had to wait six hours for a microwave even though one was supposed to be included. Shower kept cutting out and running cold then boiling hot. Was not on vance road as I booked so had to walk to the other hotel. Was told if I need anything to knock on there door but whenever I did they never answered so had to phone them. Couldn't use heating as no dials on the radiators and the bed and settee was right next to them which is not safe. Internet kept cutting out and had to keep reconnecting. No sink in the bathroom so had to wash faces and do teeth in the kitchen sink which had no plug. Bathroom stunk. All doors were fire doors and extremely heavy to push especially bad with children lost count of how many times the doors hurt them trying to get out of a room. Various holes through the room especially in the bathroom. The banister on stairs was broken causing it to be unsafe. Wardrobe had rubbish left on top from previous occupants and the door was hanging off its hinges so I had to leave luggage in the suitcase at the bottom of the bed. Duvet cover had a big cigarette burn in the middle of it. I will not be using this hotel again ever
